My friends and I were so excited to go here. The bartender Jacob M. was so rude and completely ruined our experience. We asked for one shot of tequila and he accidentally gave us three which is absolutely no big deal! We let him know that we only ordered one and he gave us attitude. He then preceded to completely ignore us the rest of the time we were there. We only stayed like 20 minutes. Please don’t spend your money here. The cute atmosphere just isn’t worth it :(

This is THEEEE cutest place I’ve ever been . Best believe I will come here for any and every excuse I get . They made me a Wilma’s Mocktail ( I asked for no alcohol) it was Divine . Next time I will get a table to try their food. The staff was very hospitable as well , all the best guys

This place is so cool! Truly something you have to experience if you are from San Diego or just visiting! This place has such an elegant, detailed design inside. The bar is literally a massive carousel inside, spinning slowly, and then there are tables in the rest of the building where you can sit and order food or drinks. I ordered a non-alcoholic drink that tasted really gross, but the waitress got me a new drink for no extra charge! She was so sweet and knowledgeable about the drinks. The bouncer/security guard at the front entrance was also THE NICEST security guard I have ever met in my extire life. He did his job in a professional manner, but also didnt feel judgey or cold like most security are. He was so welcoming and thoughtful. It was raining outside when we got here, and he invited us to stand under the covered entrance while he checked our ID cards; most security guards wouldn't care if guests were getting rained on. This guy was different! He also said goodnight to us as we left! Cheers to him and our really nice waitress! I will definitely be back!

Yes, yes, yes. We booked a reservation for Wilma’s and they sat us immediately near the back where we had an awesome view of the carousel in the middle. The atmosphere truly is one of a kind and reminded me of being a kid again.
I got the Monaco Old Fashion which to my surprise was extremely well balanced. Most times it feels like Old Fashions are too booze forward but this was perfectly balanced, not too boozy, not too bitter, and not too sweet.
Got a side a fries to share with the table and it was generous amount of fries served with 2 homemade sauces.

The food here is outstanding. I can see this place getting a Michelin star in the future. The shrimp bruschetta is one of the best things I've ever eaten. The textures, flavors and presentation are top tier. It made me feel underdressed in jeans and a t-shirt for the quality of the food. Unfortunately I rode my motorcycle and grossly underestimated the quality of this resturant. Not cheap, but worth every dollar. 5/5

They treated us very badly, they kicked us out of the place, they discriminated against us for being Mexican and if they come across the bar tender they don't even sit in the carrucel they threw the newly paid beer at us!!!!! SUPER BAD TREATMENT FROM THE STAFF!!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT

My friend and I had a great time as we always do when we go out. The Carousel Bar was super busy. We had reservations-but didn’t know you had to special request to sit at the carousel bar top so we sat at a regular dining table. The food was delicious -I mean everything we ordered was so good. We ordered a bottle of sparking wine-and had to serve ourselves as the server had so many tables she really couldn’t get back to our table very often. That’s the only critique that the service was slow…but she was nice when she did come to the table. Management didn’t notice and didn’t jump in like I would have expected. So my tips would be just to not go when you are on a time constraint. 😇

I have dined here twice now since it changed over to Wilma’s and the SDCM group has done it again! I am a big fan of all their restaurants, and they really improved this place. I love the small bites menu, everything we ate was delicious. They have one of the best burgers I have ever eaten in my life. I recommend coming here on a weekday or Sunday evening when it is a bit quieter for a more relaxing experience, or a weekend if you want more of a party vibe.
