Food was great - Adrian was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and made our experience so much fun just by her personal interaction and openness! Sunset celebration was awesome with great music and shots on the house for those at the bar ! Lots of fun! We will go again for sure!! Great Job!!Parking: We have had to park on the street down the block before - but TOTALLY worth it!!

Awesome view, a great sunset toast experience as well. Took the kids and had a solid amount of options on the menu and they were very accommodating for both them and adults

Came to enjoy a good beer, good food and the sunset on the ocean. I got all of that and a lot more. Was solo so sat at the bar. On one side of me was a guy from the east coast that comes here every time he visits on business. On the other is a 50 year Ocean Beach local. Both recommend the fish tacos, but didn't agree on the grilled versus the fried. I ordered the grilled and it was very good. Plentiful portion and perfect balance of fish, veggies and sauce. The sunset was gorgeous, but it was highlighted by a daily Wonderland ritual. They distribute a tasty shot of a special concoction to every customer, ring a ships bell as the sun dips below the horizon and make a lengthy toast to appreciate it. I will be back to San Diego and Wonderland Ocean Pub will be at the top of my list of favorite places to visit.

Rude staff. Loud. No accommodation for people in wheelchairs, despite claiming to be accessible. Busy, I can understand, but I had to wait longer than the healthy customers, because I couldn't sit in my wheelchair at their window seats. Yet, when I called ahead to try to make a reservation, trying to avoid exactly such a situation, because I am in a great deal of pain and it is difficult to sit waiting for long periods, I was told I could not reserve a table without a larger party (um, we order a lot and tip well, but apparently they thought our business wasn't worth reserving a table for my special needs) but they ASSURED me we could sit at the window without a wait.We showed up, and that wasn't the case because my chair didn't fit there. Staff clearly didn't care at all that we'd been told differently and were refused a simple reservation that would have avoided it all. They treated us like a nuisance, when they would even acknowledge us at all, as we tried to yell and explain over the drunk crowd while I'm sitting there in my wheelchair hoping not to be run into by drunks, and feeling stupid for even trying to go out in society with "normal" people and have a nice time on vacation with my husband. We had to wait for over an hour to be seated, which was very uncomfortable for me, and their rude uncaring attitude made it worse. This was for our anniversary btw, because Yelp said this place was romantic. The location is obviously great, and the food and drinks were pretty good (if a bit salty, it made my lips swell up) by the time we finally got some, but this really isn't a very romantic date spot, and it's definitely not good for disabled people. Lots of drunk screaming basic young people, if that's your thing. Nothing against young people, but you know what I mean. Also, the bathroom was absolutely disgusting. Trash and filth everywhere, and a pretty intense experience with an enormous line because they don't provide sufficient facilities for the crowd. One especially obnoxious drunk girl actually cut in front of my wheelchair, announcing that SHE needed to pee. No joke. This felt like a trashy bar that happened to have a good location and serve fish, not like a casual but romantic waterfront seafood restaurant and bar, which we expected. They also got our order wrong on the first try, after all that. Since they didn't seat us until after dark, though we timed our visit for sunset, we couldn't see the view anyway, so that didn't do us much good. I'm sure it's okay enough if you're not disabled and are allowed a sunset view. Two stars, only because the food was decent. Very disappointing experience overall, and there has to be an ADA complaint I could make here. The entire place was very difficult to navigate in a wheelchair, and making us wait longer than everyone else after not allowing a reservation for the special circumstance was just asinine.Might be an ok place for singles to go out and party on a completely superficial level, or a divey place to get some seafood if all the above doesn't bother you. For a couple celebrating an anniversary, it was frankly horrendous, made me feel worse about my disability, and did nothing to make the night romantic. Fortunately, we did that ourselves, the best we could, in spite of the awful people (workers and patrons) here.Wheelchair accessibility: Terrible, see my full review.

When we went, the place was packed! It took a while for our server to come back, which is understandable. I forgot which cocktail I ordered, but it was pretty good. My husband and his co-worker thought the seafood was really good, so they brought their wives. I think the food was decent. I can't remember what we ordered other than the lobster taco. It was good, and the wings were decent.

Decided to stop in for lunch because of the view. Food was pretty good. Mahi tacos (1 grilled, 1 fried) and Mahi ceviche. was looking for a little bit more of a kick with each. Have had what I consider to have been my favorite versions of those 2 dishes elsewhere. So 4 stars, not 5. Server was nice. View is fabulous. But some construction going on inside behind us. Would love to be there for Monday Mussel and Oyster deals. After 5pm. Check 'em out. Good beer list too.

I brought my friend there for her first time because I knew she would love the view and food selection and she said she will definitely be back (I have been many times)! We were looking forward to getting one of the desserts but our server relayed the bad news from the kitchen that they were out of the one we wanted, so he went above and beyond and brought us a large portion of the one dessert they did have and we thought that was so sweet of him and he really made our experience special. We loved the dessert (and other food too) and ate waaaaaay too much. I love this pub for the atmosphere, service, and food. Can't wait to bring more people here in the future!
