It was a requirement to come out to San Diego, go to Obi and then get some seafood after touching the water. Blue Water delivered that requirement. Got their specialty of the Blackberry Margarita, Boochcraft (hard Kombutcha), and Lychee cocktail...along with an order of the Shrimp ceviche, poke nachos, and half a dozen oysters on the shell. Having a taco with too much filling it is a great problem to have!
The portions are very generous, and absurdly delicious! Their recommendations were spot on, so definitely ask!
It gets busy at 6 so be ready for a wait, but it will be worth it!
Fish is fresh and delicious. You order from a counter and pick your table either outside on the patio with a clear view of the surf and OB pier or under a covered area free from the sun. Staff will bring your food to you. Love the place ❤
