Iconic restaurant to the area, tonight was ok, not great but not anything that would make me not go back. Service was a bit rushed and unhelpful, drinks were meh, food was good but nothing great though the clam chowder was fabulous. Dessert the famous mud pie was melting, was just a pie shape of chocolate ice cream and half the size it was last year. Ordered coffee with bailey's that came out cold and didn't seem to have a full shot of the Baileys...not the best
We had three dishes, all were delicious. Very limited dinner menu. Service was pleasant although they forgot my club soda but didn't forget my wife's wine. The place needs some real upgrading.
Very good food. I had the shrimp and andouille sausage farfalle pasta and the garden salad it came with. The pasta was spiced to perfection and nicely sauced. The salad and dressing were fresh and vibrant. My date had the prime rib, and he upgraded his salad to the Caesar salad. It was a large salad, overall, he was well pleased with his meal. Cocktails were well-made. They have a happy hour special, although we did not partake. The dessert looked delectable, but we were too full!...
