How did I spend so much money in the produce section? Easy. It's a great selection, fantastic sale prices, lots of variety, and fresh. The rest of the store is comparable too - some parts seem a little over priced compared to other Asian markets, such as H Mart, but there's good variety. Being Alaskan--and an islander from a fishing village, I tend to judge the seafood counter by how alive the fish look- are they happy, healthy, ect. But their tanks were empty. Whenever I'm in the Kearny Mesa area, I like to hit up Zion Market for some of my Asian grocery needs. They have a nice meat and seafood department, seaweed aisle, spices, a large aisle of their various sauces, snacks and a huge produce department that's pretty reasonable. You just need to be aware of prices and know what is a deal. For the most part, produce prices are reasonable. Absolutely loved this Asian market, we went right after our KBBQ meal. It's like a mall area, there's a market and different Asian shops within the store The prices are amazing we usually do HMart for our pantry stables and this store was soooo much more affordable and had a huge variety. So many workers available to answer questions store was clean, vibrant, and amazing. We will def start shopping here from now on.
