Cheesesteaks near San Dimas, CA

“I moved to Pomona from Horsham in Montgomery County Pennsylvania (Philly suburbs) in July for veterinary school. I just ordered a cheesesteak and an Italian hoagie. I’m honestly not even finished eating it yet, but I couldn’t wait to tell you how amazing everything is. I’ve been so homesick and struggling with my move, and this food is seriously curing my depression haha. Best meal I’ve had in California. Thank you!“

“Charleys is located in the Food Court of Plaza West Covina. I ordered here as haven’t had their Philly cheesesteak in such a long time. Service was perfunctory but efficient. It’s a walk up kiosk to place order and pick up. There are many tables and chairs for dine in, but the place gets packed on the weekends. The high ceiling and glass windows lend brightness to the area.

The original cheesesteak was delicious, I prefer the bread to be more toasted. The fries were nicely crisp on the outside and soft inside. I don’t go to the mall that often but I’d definitely visit Charley’s again when I do.“
