“My wife and I shared a smoked turkey, cheese and avocado sandwich and it was plenty for a late lunch and the bread was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, my wife enjoyed the lentil soup also. we shall return when in the area.“

“I can’t speak to the service or atmosphere because I ordered off of Uber Eats, but I really enjoyed my food and am excited that it’s so close to where we live.
Everything was packaged properly, with wing flavors, fries, and celery all separated by parchment paper. This meant the thin, crinkle cut fries were still crispy and perfectly cooked! The wings are on the smaller side, as mentioned in some of the negative reviews, however since I like mine extra crispy (and ordered them this way), I found them the be excellent and just the way I like them.
The sauce (family gold) and seasonings (lemon pepper dry) were plentiful so nothing was bland. The family gold is what I would call “Carolina Gold”, like a sweet Carolina style barbecue sauce. Didn’t think I’d be able to find it out west!
Price is comparable to Buffalo Wild Wings and Wing Stop — fairly normal considering everything is expensive these days.
Overall this is definitely going to be my go to spot.“

“I received excellent service here. Andrew and the cook Marvin were great. Had my food out quickly. The team communicated efficiently and well. The team here definitely went above and beyond. Hope this is noticed by managers and regionals as the employees of the 8/24 are role models of how a restaurant should function.“

“I wanted to try Matu based on a LA Times review - so on my next visit to Pasadena this past June, my daughter and I tried it - and yes, we LOVED it! It did take forever to get our order and they had run out of chips …. BUT, WOW! Everything about this sandwich was yummy - the bread, the beef, the cheese, the pepper! I always shop at Target when I’m in Pasadena, and walk by Matu. It’s only super busy at lunch and dinner time. So worth it! Did I say I’m originally from Philly? You’ll love it too!“

I went again today and the woman 👩 was very friendly. I will continue to come back soon 🔜. The sandwich 🥪 I liked the Bacon 🥓 3 Cheese 🧀 Philly Cheesesteak, I got the bacon 🥓 cheese 🧀 fries 🍟 Thursday and I got mozzarella sticks today. Everything was delicious 😋.
