“Pistachio and walnut cookies are very good. Prices are reasonable. The service is slow. The different spices in Lahmacun are not for me. The one I bought from the Armenian neighborhood is better. The stuffed meatballs are good. There is parking.“

“The food here is EXCELENT, but it's very small dining with some outside seating. But the schwarma looked great. Apparently they have a really popular fried chicken and fries dish that looked really good. I'll definitely will have to try that soon. We ordered the family meal with rice and veggies. Side of garlick fries. ?“

“I recently decided to visit The Diplomat in La Verne after being recognized by the Bonita Unified School District for my service to the schools and community. What a great choice! The food was absolutely delicious. My husband and I shared the combo plate with filet, chicken, and ground beef—it was more than enough for the both of us. The filet was juicy and sooo good! Excellent service and a fantastic experience overall. We’ll definitely be back!“

“I love how tasty their food is. I had the Lafta wrap and a Kafta plate. The way I devoured it all was insane. The flavors were great, the food was fresh, and the restaurant is kept very clean and tidy. The bread in unreal and tastes so good from their oven. I absolutely loved this place and I loo forward to coming back!
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp right by the entrance!“

“You should eat here.
Buy 16 ounces of tzatziki and eat it all in one sitting with fries. You won't regret eating 16 ounces of tzatziki in one sitting with fries.
I may or may not have done this and it was great. I will not confirm. But this is a great place to stop by.
Parking: Parking is in the rear but also on the street.“

“This place is absolutely delicious. I randomly popped in while passing through the city and I'm so glad I did. Next Time I'm passing through, I know where to eat. I wish I took a photo to share, but I didnt expect to want to leave a review, but the meal was just so finger-lickin' good! I'll have to plan a 2nd review so I can take some photos before eating next time, lol. Stop in, try them, very worth it!“

“We ordered the spicy hummus, garlic fries, beef shawarma, babakenush?, and cauliflower. My friend saw the baclava and had to try it. So we started with desser. The pistachio was very crispy and chewy and was my friends favorite. The walnut was sweet and chewy which was my favorite. Everything was absolutely delicious! The spicy hummus had a little kick at the beginning but as we ate we didn't taste the kick anymore. The cauliflower is lightly fried and so freaking delicious! I ate it by itself or with some hummus. My friend ate it with the babakanush and some cauliflower sauce and was in love. I tried her babakanush. I don't like eggplant but this was really delicious! Had a lovely garlic flavor that was slightly addicting. The garlic fries was just fries sprinkled with garlic powder but dipped it in the hummus and it was good. The pitas were really good too. I could've eaten more if I wasn't so full. But the beef shawarma was freaking AMAZING!!!!! We both said this was the best Mediterranean food we've ever had. I said no tomatoes to my beef shawarma which I'm glad I did. The flavor was absolutely amazing without it. Definitely 10/10 no complaints at all. And service was awesome too! So kind, friendly, and funny. I can't wait to come back again!“

“Dvine Mediterranean in Chino has some solid Mediterranean food options in the Chino location. We ordered the large lamb chops platter ($24.99) and the large beef shawarma platter ($23.99). The side dishes we liked were the mutabel (baba ghanoush), tabouleh, and spicy hummus. We also really enjoyed the rice and the pita that comes with the platter. They served it with a side garlic sauce and we asked for the red hot sauce on the side too.
Of the two platters, we liked the lamb chops platter slightly more than the beef shawarma. Since we went a couple months ago, we went back and tried the chicken shawarma platters recently and enjoyed it as well.
There aren't that many great Mediterranean food options out here in the Chino Hills area - Dvine might be the best one that's available.“

“I actually discovered because I was buying my kids pizza in the same plaza. I have been looking for good middle eastern food in the area and Waffa is it!
Only tried the chick kebab plate but it was a generous amount of protein and they added a small garlic sauce. The only thing that could have made is an A+ is if we got some pickled turnips but I will order them a la carte next time.“

“A very decent persian restaurant in West Covina. Being Persian myself, I had to give their food a shot. After all, this is the food I grew up eating. And I have to say, they are very satisfactory. They won’t win any awards, but they are good! The meat could have been seasoned better, and salad shirazi was missing some spice as well. But the doogh was absolutely brilliant! The interior is also very nice. The staff are mostly in the back, though. Overall, we had a very nice and satisfactory experience.“
