This spot is half Chinese bbq takeout and half dine-in Vietnamese food. Found this place because of my uncle who ordered a turkey from here for Thanksgiving one year. You can preorder a cooked turkey, and it tastes like a Chinese roast duck. It's delicious! My family orders one almost every year now and then uses the carcass to make turkey porridge. :) It's always very salty and flavorful. Turkey price has slowly risen over time. 4.5 starsWHEN: September 3rd, 2023 This restaurant is right smack in the middle of all the Asian grocery stores on Irving and always has plenty of people eating inside. They're a Chinese-Vietnamese bbq restaurant. You'll always see people lining up to order bbq to-go because they stay stocked and ready (saw a worker carry 5 ducks in one hand from the kitchen to the bbq station). I stopped by around 1030am on a Thursday and there was a small line to order their roasted/bbq meats. There was some road work or something being done so many of the spots in front of the restaurant had a sign that said we could not park there. Thankfully I found a spot down half a block without issues. I ordered one roasted duck. It comes with a container of duck sauce but honestly the sauce is not necessary because the duck has a ton of flavor. It wasn't salty or overly burnt....read full review
