surprisingly bad chicken eggs benedict- premade chicken, rubbery egg, soggy frozen english muffin (lots of water came out of chicken and soaked it). sugary, powder-obvious chai tea. :/ dingy as diners are, which was fine. bad food was demoralizing because the vibes were otherwise impeccable
maybe just an errant experience but i won’t go again. diner across street has amazing real fried chicken in contrast

The burger was a bit dry. The mimosas were nice, and the atmosphere in the patio is great!

The pancakes on our California road trip were the best we’ve ever had. The service was great, and the pancakes were delicious.

They had a pizza tasting event and the staff was pretty rude
We were supposed to eat in a different cafe but because of difficult street parking in the area, we ended up here… and it was a good thing!
While there was nothing special or unique about the menu, our orders were served hot, fresh and fast. The serving size is good for sharing so my husband and I shared each of our orders and our kid enjoyed the plateful of fries.
The patio seating was a plus! It created a pleasant breakfast experience for us. One thing I personally wanted (and I guess for all other restaurants and cafes I’ve been to) is that they serve the coffee hot, not warm. My husband said most restaurants are cautious of serving piping hot coffee due to lawsuit concerns involving burning. It was not a big deal but I would have enjoyed my entire meal more if my coffee was hot (and also for the rest of restaurants I have been to).
The staff, while manning the guests alone, was super cheerful and efficient.

Super chill vibes and they were about to play live music. An awesome place to get creative or have a bite to eat! They also had a very cool bathroom with super nice napkins.

I had a breakfast croissant with rosemary potatoes and a latte. It was delicious especially the potatoes. The service is extraordinary. Dined with dog Oliver at the table out front.

I couldn't find parking (which is a S.F. custom)and had limited time so I didn't get to go in. Though, it looked like a neat little cafe. The reviews are good and the people I seen dinning there had smiles and were seemingly enjoying themselves. I added it to my list of future stops.
I must give kudos to the shop owners and presumably the city for the transformation I seen in the Haight/Ashbury area. I've been here many times in my 51 years on this spinning globe. I have seen different conditions in this historic and much beloved area. There were times, after wandering through the shops, that I thought I would need a penicillin shot, just to be on the safe side. Other times when it was laden with addicts asking for change, every ten feet you walked (no judgments here. I sincerely pray for their difficulties and well being). Today, I seen families walking with their kids, showing them shops and explaining the rich history of the area. The shops were cleaned up and the entire area had a welcoming feel I have never before experienced. That is so vitally important as it is in the true spirit of the 60's hippie movement and what it stood for. It wasn't all about drugs and orgies (although that was sometimes true of some of the folks of the era), it was about Peace. There was still a feeling of morality in folks, with most wishing happiness, freedom, tranquility, and Peace on those around them. That's what the folks from that era would like people to take from it all. It was great to see it be a safe and peaceful place to visit. ☮️🕊️✌️
A wide variety of items on the menu. Great service. A gem of a place in my opinion.
