Very attentive and friendly staff. Atmosphere was quaint. Expected food to come out consistently together for group so that everyone could select their entrees and also eat the chow mein and/or rice with the meats and veggie options we selected. Would recommend the Mongolian beef and vegetable egg rolls!

We had our family reunion here, and it couldn’t have been better. The staff was attentive, the service was excellent, and everyone had a wonderful time. The food was absolutely delicious—authentic, flavorful, and served hot. This is a local spot- it’s not touristy. Come for the great food, friendly service, and eat like us locals

Alright, I start many of my reviews this way but this is how I find the best places. My wife and I walk by here all the time. Situated perfectly in between Chinatown and Little Italy (North Beach), it is easily accessible from either direction. We stopped by for a quick bite months ago (had dumplings) and had came back with family for a full lunch!

I gotta say this is my new go-to Chinese restaurant! Great variety of options, bright interior with big windows allows you to get the full experience of SF's vibrancy. Food was fresh and flavorful! Be sure to ask for the hot sauce if you like spicy. We got a chance to meet the owners, Eugene was great. I love when the owners take the time to meet their customers. Feels like home.

I didn't get a chance to take pictures but definitely will be back to do so!

I’ve dined here four times now and has become my primary option to bring friends to when they are in town. There are some really consistent factors: hk milk tea, dry fried beef ho fun, and honey walnut prawns have never let me down. Milk tea is strong and has a big milktea ice cube that keeps it from watering down during the meal. Ho fun has the smoky wok quality essential to the dish. Honey walnut prawns have a great ratio of meat to batter, with really great flavor too.

Unfortunately I do feel the seasoning of some dishes have been inconsistent and makes it hard to know if I’ll come on a good day or not. The crispy hk noodles were amazing the first time I had it, but too salty the next. Same with the salt and pepper fried fish and fried tofu. Those side dishes being on the saltier side was able to be balance with white rice but the crispy noodles was really disappointing that second time around. I asked the server if it could be remade but seems the sauce is batched for service. She offered some alternative dishes but we already had our mind set on it. That was very nice of her though! :)

Fingers crossed they can solidify their quality assurance process because I do love taking friends here and want them to have a great experience every time too!

Service has been great every time.

We recently had the pleasure of dining at 606 Broadway restaurant,to celebrate a mini Family Reunion (33 attendees at the lower level banquet area). My cousin and I planned the event with the owners, Eugene and Alvin Lau. They were so accommodating with the planning that from the time we arrived, guests signed and 3 hours later, nobody wanted to leave.
From start to finish, the experience was outstanding.

The food was simply delicious—every dish was full of flavor, beautifully prepared, and arrived fresh and hot. They also have Asian desserts and have an excellent selection of beer and wine.

The staff were exceptionally professional and attentive, always ensuring our table was well taken care of without being intrusive. Their knowledge of the menu and warm hospitality added a personal touch that made the evening even more enjoyable.

The newly remodeled space is stunning. The décor strikes a perfect balance of modern elegance and traditional charm, creating an atmosphere that is both inviting and sophisticated. The ambiance enhances the dining experience—whether you’re there for a casual meal or a special occasion, it feels just right.
Overall, 606 restaurant has set a new standard for quality dining. With excellent food, attentive service, and a remarkable atmosphere, it’s truly a gem worth visiting again and again.

This is one of my family’s favorite restaurants in the Chinatown/North Beach neighborhood. The staff and owners are exceptionally welcoming, the food is always delicious, and the servings are ample. I’m so glad the family was able to bring this restaurant back after the pandemic.

Came to SF for the weekend and was looking for a quick bite nearby. So glad we stopped here! I war craving beef ho fun and I this place hit the spot.

What we ordered:
- Simon’s Garlic Chicken – 10/10, sooo flavorful, garlicky, and tangy. I’d come back just for this. (Recommend)
- Beef Ho Fun – 8.5/10, one of the best I’ve had.
- Salt & Pepper Tofu w/ String Beans – 7/10, super crispy and soft inside, just a tad bit too salty (I’d ask for lighter salt next time).

The owner Alvin and his family were super welcoming, and service was great. They just reopened and the vibe inside is really nice. Definitely check this place out if you’re in Chinatown

Simon the owner is an amazing person! Chatted with us, told us the story and asked us about our visit to the city. Took great care of us, made my daughter’s birthday eve a little more special with surprise homemade banana ice cream. All the food was lovely, atmosphere cozy, prices fair. Go here and support an excellent family owned business.
