Pathetic taste and Bad service

Had the Chocolate Rocher Parfait — it turned out to be just two scoops of chocolate ice cream with some whipped cream, priced at $14.
The Thai Tea Toast was bitter, and the ice cream on it tasted terrible. It was stale. Costed $14 as well.

Not surprised the place was empty on a Friday evening. To make things worse, the staff were rude. They didn’t even bring spoons with the desserts, and when we asked for cutlery, they just pointed to the counter and told us to get it ourselves.
Definitely not worth the visit.

$12.50 + tax + tips for a mango shaved ice that’s very icy and no flavor in the ice I will definitely not be coming back again.

This used to be our favorite walking distance dessert spot! We hadn't been in about a month and it seems the menu has since been scaled back and portions sizes are smaller, although the pricing hasn't changed by much (from 15.99 to 14.50 for what we ordered). The pandan toast we ordered unfortunately just isn't up to its original caliber -- for example the ice cream it was served with went from a higher-quality vanilla bean to a run-of-the-mill vanilla.

This place used to be my favorite dessert in SF, but unfortunately recently its noticibly changed. the parfait is now half the size it used to be and comes in a plastic cup instead of the tall glass cups it used to. the parfait is now also 75% ice cream with barely any sticky rice/toppings. For $15 you'd expect more

This place used to be amazing and it’s gone down hill in just a handful of months. Did the owners change? The worst kakikoriI ever tasted. Literally shaved ice with a pump of matcha sauce. I don’t know why they decided to change their restaurant layout and menu but they no longer give you nice big portions with beautiful presentations. I’m an avid bingsu and kakikori lover and I feel robbed walking into this place! Really loud. $13.50 for a super ssmall and disappointing serving. If this place doesn't go out of business ASAP I'll kill myself.

Cute open seating area. The couch was comfy though a bit low. Utensils were cute. Shaved ice was well made with extra sauce in the center and on the side. Roti was delicious though a bit over fried for me. Thai tea sauce is delicious
New savory menu items. Nuggets were okay.
Peach soda tastes a bit too much like canned peaches.
Mango shaved ice still best after trying piña colada and strawberry.

Super disappointed. This was our go to dessert. The menu has entirely changed. They no longer provide water and seating. The dessert presentation is terrible and the portion is soo small compared to what it was before. The mango bingsu used to be on a nice gold bowl with mango puree syrup but is now replaced with a disposable cup and shave ice instead of shaved milk which makes a huggge difference.. Maybe new owner change? Sad to say I will not be coming back 😭

Not sure what happened, but there was just a major change here. The kind waiter has been replaced by walk-up counter service. They got rid of the nice green couch. The ceramic plates and golden cutlery have been replaced by disposable plastic utensils and paper cups/plates. They no longer bring water with your dessert. The menu has been scaled back and portion sizes have decreased.

Came here with a group of friends after work, and our experience definitely could've been better. When we wanted to order, we had to wait a bit before we can order because the person at the counter seemed busy on their phone. The desserts were okay, nothing special. Not sure if I'd come again given their price point, but their interior is definitely pretty nice.

It’s OKAY. The ice was too crunchy! I’m always in ethnoburbs, and visited many Koreatowns and Chinatowns and Little Tokyos the world over. The ice needs to be smaller granules! The topping to ice ratio is off. Or if perhaps the ice were better… I wouldn’t expect as much toppings to compensate! I cannot speak on the big toasts, as my friend and I only shared the shaved ice. He liked it though, but I think I have a more refined taste for shaved ice.

Reasonably priced desserts in a cozy setting. They have many different makigori, Japanese shaved ice, but it's quite icy without as much flavor as other types of shaved ice.

There is also a minimum $7 per person if there are more than 5 people, which is fair.

The interior is well-decorated and homey, but the plating and spoons give it a nice vibe.

The pandan toast was great, well-balanced and not too sweet or heavy. You could really taste the pandan flavor.

I wish they were open in the morning since it could be a great sweet breakfast spot (who doesn’t want ice cream for breakfast?!).
