Really good Italian. Had the cauliflower, salad and sausage pizza. Budino for desert. Lots of natural wines on the list.

Highly recommend. Was a great neighborhood, the restaurant was warm and inviting. We had a corporate team dinner and everything was delicious from the wine to the appetizers (the ricotta meatballs were a hit!) to the entrees. My favorite was the Brentwood corn ravioli. Will definitely be returning.

My go-to place in Hayes Valley. The outdoor seating is very nice.

I used to really enjoy this restaurant and loved the food, but after my last visit, I honestly don’t think I’ll be coming back. It all started with the host, Robert, his attitude was extremely negative and unwelcoming. If it weren’t for the excellent service from the bartender who helped us get seated, I probably would have just left.

On top of that, our server seemed very sad and had a bad attitude as well. Overall, the service from both the host and the server was truly pathetic. Such terrible service, definitely my last visit here.

I came at opening at 11:30am for lunch. We were seated right away. They offer sparkling water and mocktails. Both of these were refreshing! The beef ragu pasta and kale salad were delicious!
The mushroom pizza was also wonderful with a nice crunchy crust.

The menu is great, most anyone can find multiple things to order. The food is always consistent and good sized servings which is important when you share family style. We have had two large groups here (10 and 14) and both times the restaurant was outstanding at service and coordination. Lots of rave reviews afterwards! The rigatoni, meatballs, cauliflower, polenta, and tagliatelle were some faves!

The manager Robert is very rude and terrible. He stands beside left hand side door to assign table to customers. Robert tells me I only can seat along to window. Even some small tables available.
I tell Robert door of restroom is heavy to females, it bounced back hitting me quickly and clamped held my sandal I fell down. Also, I ordered Fungus pizza, only few pieces of fungus, rest all white sauce that’s it nothing else. Robert said chef forgets it, Robert cannot do anything about it.
There’s customers there on Saturday night, Rober wrote down my phone number and receipt number asking me:go, just go right now, leave the restaurant don’t say about your experiences anymore here. Go, go, go now. I will see cameras and contact you tomorrow about you fell down and return you the payment or reimburse you the sandal.
Next day Robert didn’t call me. I call him on Monday today. He yelled me saying:who cares? I don’t follow up anything. I didn’t see you fell down in cameras. We don’t have any camera in restaurant. Don’t come back for any reason, or I will use fork to cut your hand a lot. Your sandal only broken part of it not destroyed totally, you still can walk without cane, trash !!

The appetizers are great, the bread and broccoli especially. The rigatoni was pretty good but nothing exceptional. On the more expensive side.

Everything was absolutely amazing. Starting with the management team being very accommodating of our party size increasing from 4 to 7 guest. Our servers were top notch and made us all feel very comfortable to be there. They were knowledgeable, attentive and reflected great hospitality. The food did not disappoint at all. The presentation of everything was immaculate and every dish was delicious.
Thank you a Mano team for doing a fantastic job.

We love A Mano - we had a 5:15 reservation for our party of 7. We were seated right away. Varied menu for everyone's tastes, allergies and preferences. Great for vegetarians. The pasta dishes were excellent and very rich. Service was very good. The restaurant is noisy, but it's a fun noisy.

a Mano made my birthday dinner incredibly special. We had to increase our party size last minute and Kevin, the manager, did a wonderful job fitting us all in and getting creative with the communal table. The service is friendly and on point. The food is incredible and great for sharing. The vibe at the spot is upscale to feel like a celebration but also comfortable to allow for easy conversation. We stayed for far longer than we anticipated and everyone left very happy. Would highly recommend for a group dinner!
