Dinner at A16 on Chestnut was a great experience. A few takeaways:

• They were very accommodating, even moving our reservation up an hour on a busy Saturday with a Giants game in town.
• We switched tables a couple of times because of the heat near the ovens, and by the third move we were comfortable. Staff never made us feel like a burden.
• Casual but stylish vibe. We came straight from a day of biking in tourist clothes and still fit...

Great experience for a date night on our trip to SF. I have never, ever had a red sauce that tastes just like my Sicilian mother makes so my mind was blown. Sat outside which was a bit more bustling than we expected, however server was attentive and friendly, and the Lambrusco was amazing. Our server made sure to note any differences in the drinks and food we might not have realized from other Italian spots, and unfortunately we were just too full for desert! Will be back for...

Great spot, was glad to get a reservation just hours before in what looked like a popular Friday night spot. Server was excellent and there was a wide variety of wines. No cocktails FYI
