This place used to be good but now their cocktails are super watered down.

Service from I believe her name was Liliana was amazing! We sat outside on the patio and was a nice area besides the homeless coming by and asking for things. We only got the side of fries but they were really good for apps. I got the horchata colada and it is nothing like a horchata. In my opinion it needs to be renamed cause you can’t even taste the horchata. I then went with a tequila and it was tasty and sweet totally forgot the name of it. Overall great experience.

Amazing service. All front of house are bartenders who rotate nights. That means one night they are bartending, another they are bar-back. The result is everyone takes ownership of service. Pro tip: they don’t allow People to stand and wait, so get there early.

4.5/5. Great bar with excellent drinks. Think neighborhood, casual, wooden long tables, modern industrial and taverny. I originally thought it’s not your classic romantic date-spot, but I take that back. It’s quite vibey. It can be intimate depending on your seating situation/crowdedness given the dim ambience lighting. Good bar to have convos (not too loud) or hang with friends. While dim, you probably don't want to canoodle here since you might be sharing a communal table with others, but it is a great spot to build up vibes for some canoodling later. I really liked their Terragon drinks, very well made - they had one slightly highball-esque and maybe mezcal that was really good (it’s off menu tho). The grapefruit highball is light and refreshing. I heard their food is also good but did not try. Would recommend!

Good food
Overpriced drinks
Rude staff (50% of them)
Very strict for physical ID, mostly based on ignorance and false sense of hype.
That’s a shame because the place is not too loud, and the food menu is pretty solid.

This place has a great trumpet mushroom appetizer and great hamburger! And the best is that their kitchen closes late (midnight if I’m not wrong).

Cocktails were all delicious and really fun. Menu is very exhaustive with unique creations. Seating is tough, especially for larger groups, but we were able to find a table with a servers help.

I love this place, it's perfect place to start, end, or spend the night. The food and drinks are delicious, highly recommend the octopus, trumpet mushrooms and the gin-based drinks.

Top notch drinks and our waitress had great recommendations. The fries were so surprisingly good that we ordered another and came close to getting a third portion…

ABV Bar in San Francisco is a hidden gem for spirits lovers. They’ve got super cool, fairly priced selections across the board—food, wine, beer, mezcal, bourbon, Japanese whisky, and scotch. The owners are incredibly friendly and accommodating, which makes the vibe even better. If you’re a die-hard whisky nerd, I’d recommend bringing your own Glencairn glass, but otherwise, you’ll be thrilled—especially with the amazing old single cask Springbanks they pour at great prices.

Solid choice for cocktails and casual food at reasonable prices. Extensive drink menu with knowledgeable bartenders who take time to explain their creations.
Tried several cocktails - the one with carrot juice was surprisingly delicious and well-portioned. Ahi tuna tartare ($19) with sesame chips was fresh and tasty.
Food is casual but good quality - perfect for date night or hanging with friends. Not fancy, but that's exactly the vibe they're going for.
Will return to explore more of their cocktail menu.
