ABV Bar in San Francisco is a hidden gem for spirits lovers. They’ve got super cool, fairly priced selections across the board—food, wine, beer, mezcal, bourbon, Japanese whisky, and scotch. The owners are incredibly friendly and accommodating, which makes the vibe even better. The drinks were great. But I got a weird vibe. As I and other patrons walked in around 1am, I was confused to see disappointment and disbelief on the bartenders’ faces.
