Went to Acquolina during SF restaurant week and had an amazing evening of good food and cocktails. Started with an espresso martini and chose an appetizer and main from the $45 pre fixe menu. Had burrata as appetizer and seafood pasta as main with tiramisu for dessert.

Excellent food, amazing service, and the best ambiance - what are you waiting for?! Came here to celebrate a friend's birthday and we enjoyed every bite. We all did the restaurant week $45 special for 3 courses - we had the bruschetta and calamari, ravioli and pappardelle, and tiramisu. All of the items were very tasty and well portioned. Parking can be a little tricky around here (even on a weeknight!) so allocate some extra time if you're driving.

Acquolina became a haven for me in 2020. My best friend and I randomly decided to eat here. I still think this is the best service and food on the block and intersection. I would recommend sitting outside if you can. The view of the park, street and neighborhood in addition to the food is everything. Recommend the chianti, pepperoni pizza, and every appetizer. I brought my cousin here when we were visiting in 2022 and the staff were so accommodating. She loved, I loved.

Our party was just so unimpressed by this restaurant. Maybe it’s because it was a busy night, but the server never brought out our appetizers. The food was just not good, especially the ravioli. We also sat outside and the heat lamps did not keep us warm. Just not impressed at all, especially knowing that there are better restaurants on the same street. It’s a pain but it’s worth it to just join the queue for Tony’s pizza 5 hours in advance and eat there.

They got every part of my order wrong, from the dessert to the drink and even the main course. The waiter was rude and unhelpful DO NOT GO!!!!

The service and food were excellent. The only thing that I would suggest is that the 20% service fee be posted on the menu and advised at time of ordering. We ended up doubling the tip but because the service was awesome, did not ask to amend. Thank you!!

Great experience in little Italy!! Parm wheel is the reason we chose Acquolina and it didn’t disappoint.Food was good, only issue one might have would be that it didn’t come out together & by the time it all came out some plates were cold. So that’s definitely an opportunity.Service was good, atmosphere good, limited cocktail menu, good wine, overall great experience.

I had the mushroom and ham pizza and it came out soggy and undercooked. I usually don't leave a review but, for the price, they should actually bake the pizza.

Tourist trap in an area surrounded by incredible Italian restaurants. Food comes out cold and is overpriced and just slung out by the kitchen as fast as they can. Service is poor and lacks any type of attention to your table. Do yourself a favor and skip this place and go to one of the 20 surrounding restaurants to get a quality meal.

Acquolina is noooiice!! From ambiance to service down to food, affirming that we made the right dinner choice of the night. It was close to 8pm when we opted to park in the garage because street parking on a stormy Sat night was almost impossible. Walked over a block or two and a bit of a wait for a table, but we finally sat down after 15mins shivering outside. Finally sat and dinner companion ordered the show! Spaghetti parmigiano, w/ mushroom & truffles...cooked table in the wheel of parmigiano and served with porcini mushrooms & black truffle sauce - that was killers! But can't eat too much of it because it so rich! The kid got their Margherita pizza. I ordered the seafood stew pasta, boss got their spaghetti & meatballs, and dear lady their ravioli. Their calamari and shrimp app was also delectable! I typically avoid north beach because parking and tourist trap, but it was a nice treat to be in Washington Square! Service was great from sitting til paying at the end...really sweet and attentive staff! Plan to take the hubs here and another pie or pasta! Grazie!

Went here for a 7:30 reservation, got seated at 8:00 and told the menu posted on line that day was invalid. Left for a great experience at Sodini's.
