Ate here yesterday. Doubted by the reviews. However, the service was very good and the staff was also very friendly. We were all immediately served a large glass of water.The pizzas were also excellent. I find it difficult to indicate price/quality. We travel so much and prices for pizzas range from $5 to, in this case, $25.In the Netherlands we would never pay for a pizza, it costs 11 dollars there. This is San Francisco. The good: the lasagna and the calamari were outstanding.The bad: service left much to be desired.The ugly: I realize how expensive SF must be for service workers, but charging an automatic 20% gratuity for mediocre service is unpalatable

Great experience in little Italy!! Parm wheel is the reason we chose Acquolina and it didn’t disappoint.Food was good, only issue one might have would be that it didn’t come out together & by the time it all came out some plates were cold. So that’s definitely an opportunity.Service was good, atmosphere good, limited cocktail menu, good wine, overall great experience.
