I was told to check this sushi restaurant out because I very picky when it comes to eating raw fish. The hamachi was delectable buttery fresh just the way I like it. The service was immaculate the food was divine. The ambience was peaceful. The feng shui of the restaurant makes you feel like you are at home. I highly recommend the establishment to anyone who cares about clean food properly prepared. This is a must go to restaurant if you enjoy sushi. 10 out of 5 stars is my rating....
More affordable than i’m used to for the bay area. Sushi was super high quality and DELICIOUS. I especially enjoyed the chefs choice omakase!!!

Tried out Amami recently and was pleasantly surprised! The sashimi was the clear standout—super fresh with thick, melt-in-your-mouth slices. We ordered one of the dinner combos, which was pretty solid, but honestly, the sashimi is what makes this place worth coming back to. Some of the newer or cooked dishes were just okay, but nothing disappointing. Service was friendly, and the vibe is laid-back and casual. Definitely coming back for more sashimi!
