What can say, I grew up in the area, was raised eating a lot of Asian fare. This an exceptional place, very unique dishes and flavors. No just Pad Thai and Tom Kai Gai. It's no Michelin restaurant, the interior is... a Thai restaurant. The service is perfect and food delicious.

Small cozy place for Thai food with the best noodles. Construction in front so drive down a little further to park.

Came here for lunch and was blown away with how amazing the noodle soups were. We ordered the 91 and 93 and the portions were huge and delicious. Not sure if the takeout portions are smaller but in restaurant they were substantial. The 93 was spicy, had a variety of pork in various formats and had a very rich broth. Service was quick and restaurant is cozy. Highly recommend!

Amphawa made me realize how much better Thai food is on the west coast than back home in Virginia.
Had the Pad See Ew and it was so fresh and tender! ??

We enjoyed a delicious meal! They have a very extensive menu so be prepared to take your time to order. They don’t have a lot of seats, but they offer take out. The food was excellent and they have very good service. It’s hard to find parking right outside, but you can always look in close by streets. We will be coming back!

Wide selections of Thai food. They have the real hormok (fish cake) which is unusual for California (usually so unauthentic). They have Kai jiew omelet too, which I love. Feel like eating back in a restaurant in Thailand. Waitresses are so attentive. Food is very quick.

Food was so slow three tables after we already got their dinner we still have to wait. Luckily my wife told me to calm down otherwise I would just get up and leave.
The food is decent, but their prices and portions are absurd. I paid $18 (including tax, not tip) for a papaya salad. Half of the plate was a garnish of full leaves of cabbage, and the actual salad didn’t even have the best part - the dried shrimp. There are many Thai resteraunts in this area with better prices and flavor
Hands down the best Thai restaurant in San Francisco by a long shot. It’s authentic, cozy, and absolutely delicious. This is the flavor depth I’ve been craving with a menu that allows me to try so many new things too.
