Best coffee spot in the bay area. It is a must when visiting the city. Wish there would be a location in the east bay

In the Outer Sunset, Andytown boasts several locations, including this hipster coffee shop with no seating. It's perfect for grabbing a quick to-go order, which is my usual routine there. My go-to drink is the Snowy Plover, a delightful concoction of sparkling water with shots of espresso and a hint of sweetness, topped off with their homemade whipped cream. Mixing it creates a creamy, fizzy delight. It took a few tries, but now I truly appreciate its unique taste. Distinctive to Andytown, the Snowy Plover drink adds an extra touch of exclusivity to the place, making it even more special and the reason I keep coming back.

I ended up here by accident- I wanted to try Sweet Passion Bakery, and then realized I'd heard about this coffee shop next door, and it smelled amazing. This is both a two and a four star review, averaging out to three stars. I'll start with the positive- my partner was having an out-of-body experience and ordered an oat pumpkin spice latte. I sampled some and it was perfect. It was unique and well-flavored, without being too sweet. I got a simple drip coffee with oat milk, with just a little sugar added because I wanted to try the coffee itself. Only after leaving the shop did I realize how sour it tasted. I'm not certain whether it was the coffee, or I got a bad carton of oat milk, but even after adding two scoops of sugar the coffee was still undrinkable and I dumped more than half the cup. In addition to the coffee drinking experience, this may be the worst-operated coffee shop I've experienced, as others have noted. When we arrived there was one person taking, and making each individual order, though the flow improved a little when a second staff member arrived.

As usual with Andytown, their coffee is decent, I'd choose it over any non-pumpkin spiced drink from Starbucks. I would just ask for less milk in most of their drinks, they usually run a bit on the milky side. I particularly like this location because you can see how they roast their beans and is within walking distance. I wouldn't come here if you expect fast service, especially if there's already a line, it might run you 10-15 minutes. They're usually pretty polite, not much conversation which is fine. I don't like their rewards program, 10 drinks get you 5 dollars off an item, but 5 dollars can't even cover a drink unless you like straight-up black coffee. I find that a bit odd, but whatever I can get off I'll take. I love their snowy plovers, It's more of an acquired taste, but once it's acquired there's no going back! So definitely stop by and give it a try.

You know that feeling of pure Bliss when you discover something new? Like climbing Mount Everest or finding a hole in the wall joint that has the best food? Andytown has my favorite drink, the Snowy Plover. Any chance I get I come here and grab two to go. Parking can be very difficult, but it's worth it for that sparkling coffee rush!

Absolutely not. Came in for a quick coffee. Quick being the key word. This is not the place to come for such an order. They take their sweet ass time at this place

To plover or not to plover, that is the question. Regardless if you plover or not, pick up a drink of choice and walk on over to Ocean Beach to see actual plovers scavenging for food along the shoreline. It's quite the date. My fiancé is a FAN of the plovers. It can be a coffee or a matcha, with pelligrino sparkling water. It is an acquired taste, but he enjoys it. So I can't tell you that you will or will not. I was not a fan. I did however enjoy their latte with brown sugar syrup. Delicious and would grab again! Especially hot, when it is cold and windy at the beach. My tip: order online. The line is almost always crazy. Their timing if notifying you that your drink is ready is pretty spot on.

Very basic menu but really good coffee - smooth and not too acidic or bitter. They roast beans at that location and it smells great. Even after sitting a while my second cup from here was excellent (I got it right before a meeting and didn't drink it until after).

$7.75 for a pumpkin spice latte with oat milk. tasted disgusting. I was *this* close to asking for a refund but didn't want to be a j**** honestly my coffee at home is better. and i tipped the barista a $1. i shouldn't have. ($8.75 total for a tiny cup of sewer water). thanks for making a spectacular morning. whatevs man, i'm not spending money here again.

Inconsistent opening hours. You will never know whether they are open or closed. Very frustrating when you spend 30 minutes to get here.

It saddens me to write this review because: 1. I used to be a huge Andytown fan and purchased their iced matcha lattes from different locations 2. I recently purchased their espresso beans and ended up with a migraine I finally decided to purchase espresso beans in hopes of pulling my own espresso shot, frothing my own milk, only to result in a migraine from this all. I reached out to Andytown's customer support to share my dilemma and was met with countless questions surrounding my nonexistent past history of migraines, if I was hydrated and ate throughout the day I experienced it, all in hopes of receiving a refund or even store credit. Through the 13 back & forth emails we've sent, I've experienced themes of defensiveness and gaslighting, which I would hope is not how they treat their staff as the restaurant and hospitality industry is notorious for. It felt like I was speaking to someone who wanted to diagnose my health, even though they would eventually share that they could not understand the correlation of espresso beans and a migraine. This overall experience taught me that there is a big difference investing $13.25 at Andytown vs. Blue Bottle, Starbucks, etc. I like supporting small businesses, but it's hard to do so when there's a lack of empathy.

I ordered a ice coffee with cream and sugar. Tasted awful. I had to go home and add sugar and creamer to be able to drink it. I also ordered a huckleberry muffin and it was very dry. Didn't taste fresh or sweet as it was implied on the sign.

Rude employee who did not open on time. Could have been polite if running behind schedule. Plenty of other coffee shops to go to.
