Underdogs Too Reviews
I always get the baja style fried fish tacos Nick's way. Had some friends try them last night, and everybody thought they were incredible. I personally also add their habanero salsa which you'll have to request for if you like that much heat.
Their house margaritas are the perfect accompaniment. The staff is all great. It's generally busy every time I'm there but luckily I've never had to wait very long for a table (that might just be luck).
Great place - clean with friendly staff - especially Brennan - awesome service and food ! 5 stars ⭐️
Delicious, and kid-friendly. Don’t let the bar vibes fool you - they have a kids menu and high chairs. Waitress offered us crayons and a coloring sheet. There was a changing table in the large stall of the women’s restroom.
We came here after a morning trip to the SF Zoo where the food options looked quite sad. We were so happy we ended up here! Breakfast burritos hit the spot and our toddler was happy watching the L Train pass every 10 minutes.

Underdogs Too is a popular restaurant known for its delicious and diverse menu, featuring dishes like carne asada quesadillas and pozole. It is a great spot right by the ocean, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, making it a favorite among families and groups. The outdoor seating is especially loved, and the restaurant is often busy, so customers should expect a wait on weekends and most evenings. The staff is praised for being friendly, patient, and attentive, even with energetic kids. Customers enjoy the casual atmosphere and high-quality food, including favorites like Nick's Way carnitas tacos and the highly recommended Nick's Way Taco. For those looking to share, nachos are a great option. The restaurant offers a good selection of drinks, including house margaritas and horchata, and has plenty of TVs to watch games. While the prices are average for the area, some have noted a sneaky 4.5% surcharge for employee healthcare. Recently, customers mentioned that the food is great, with enough sauces included for to-go orders and chips at no extra charge. Multiple servers check in and refill water promptly, creating a welcoming experience. The street tacos, especially the carnitas, are fabulous, and the service is quick and friendly. Many guests also appreciate the gluten-free options and the quality of the flautas. Overall, Underdogs Too remains a beloved neighborhood spot for locals and visitors alike.
