I had the carne asada quesadilla w/ sour cream and guacamole, my wife ordered the pozole and we shared buffalo wings. I had a $4.50 jarritos ( just a tad bit expensive) and the missus, water. The cost was about $54, which, in San Francisco is about average. The dinner was amazingly tasty and I would recommend this little joint any day.Kid-friendliness: Kids running around like wild banshees in a lunatic asylum and the parents didn't care.

After visiting the SF zoo, this is the only restaurant that was nearby. By its name, I did not know what to expect. After viewing the menu, it is more fusion Mexican. The portions are ample and the ingredients are fresh. The chips can be thinner so the salsa can stick onto the chip, therefore, getting more salsa per chip. Taco and breakfast burrito are good. The bacon made it crunchy which is different. Service is fast. I did not like our server because the server did not have any personality - just a blob doing a job. The server got somewhat irritated because I took too long to decide on what to order (came minutes after we sat down and another 5 minutes later) The restaurant wasn't even crowded. This is my first time and I needed time to digest the menu. There was nothing that jumped at me, so yes, I did take time. Most of the customers (locals or familiar with the menu) knew what they wanted. I just happen to be a "newbie". The atmosphere did not feel friendly to me - people were rarely talking to each other that you would expect in a bar setting.

Food terrible, service terrible over priced and not worth it at all. Won't go back. Nothing more to say.

This place serves nothing but wonderful tasty food. I am delighted that they reopened after it burned. It's very casual, but delivers high-end taste. Wait staff seemed very nice and the drinks are refreshing. Nothing better than sitting outside on a sunny day. Enjoy! You will certainly not regret it.

UT - is an excellent drinking destination. Service at UT is top notch - attentive, friendly and helpful. Food-wise both street tacos and grilled fish burrito were surprisingly bland - but - 2 squeeze bottles (that are part of standard table settings) of hot sauce to the rescue. The outside tables are sticky and sooty - seems like they need a serious deep cleaning - because a standard wipe down is probably not enough. Despite any possible minuses -- UT remains a neighborhood destination.

The food was excellent. We could tell everything was fresh. We ordered the impossible burrito, the baha burrito, chips and salsa. Then we ordered the southern. Which was a shot of tequila blanco and tecate beer. Awesome. The staff was amazing. They made sure we were great the entire time we were there. Shot out to the staff. Hi Kiwi! (the bartender) The vibe was very chill. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

Tacos 2 block from the beach? Yes, please! Service was quick & friendly, and the food was fresh & tasty. We really like the 2 bottles of salsas they have on the table - so fresh! Overall chill vibes even though they were busy with the Saturday lunch rush ?

Went here last night for dinner with my gf. Second time coming here and sitting at the bar. Great little neighborhood spot and love sitting at the bar. Customer service was mid at best overall... One bartender took our chips, salsa, and drink order then proceeded to go on her break and it was as if no one was there to serve us. It would have been nice if she told us she was going on break and that another bartender would help us, as she sat three seats away from us at the bar, on her break... My gf ordered a San Francisco burrito that comes with rice and didn't have rice in it. When the bill came she asked if the burrito normally comes with rice and told them the burrito did not have rice in it. The bartender who took our order said something to the extent of yes it does, oh i'm sorry. She got some foil to take the burrito to go but it would have been nice if he offered her a little rice to go. They don't give you utensils for your food. They have dinner napkins in El Pato cans all along the bar but no forks or knives in them. At least the one in front of us didn't have any. I hate having to ask for the basics as a customer when that sort of thing is automatic elsewhere. The two tacos I ordered came five minutes after her burrito, no biggie. A quick little "your tacos will be right out" would have put me at ease. I tipped 20% when I shouldn't have. Anyhow, Underdogs on 9th is a step above

Food is awesome the workers are nice and kind but $55 for a house margarita pitcher is honestly insane. Me and my friends went here to eat and have a few drinks and our bill was $193 plus tip for 2 pitchers (which were literally almost all ice) tacos and 2 burritos. It was our fault we didn't check the price but yeah $55 for margs.... All I'm gonna say is those drinks better have been made by God himself or I better have super powers or something after drinking those holy crap. (We ended up paying like $210)

It's a bit on the expensive side and the food is just so-so. Even take for take outs tips are pre-set of their choices.
