Our food was very delicious!! And our drinks were yummy. We ordered Mandocas, Arepas Santa Barbara, Cachapa, strawberry margarita and passion fruit margarita. The service was great. Came here Sunday lunch time and got seated right away. They were very attentive and checked in on us consistently. Highly recommend!

My experience at Arepas Latin Cuisine was very disappointing. They overcharged my bill and did not provide me with a printed receipt at first. I had to ask the waiter several times to send me the bill by text message so I could review the charges.
When I finally checked the bill, I noticed that happy hour drinks were charged at full price, and they also added an $18 tip without clearly informing me. The original bill was $114, but after I questioned the charges, it was corrected down to $87.
I do not recommend this place based on my experience. If you decide to go, make sure to carefully review your bill before paying.

If you’re a latino food enthusiast do not visit this place. The restaurant now is focusing on the big big deals. They’re not paying attention to regular customers anymore, the service has terribly declined. If you’re a big customer they’ll treat you with respect and diligence, but if you’re just looking to enjoy a nice night then get ready for 1-1:30hr waiting, bad table service, forgetful waiters and reheated food. I hope the people who work there have decent wages and a good work environment because it’s not really being reflected on their service.

Food was good. Took awhile for the food to arrive at our table. Ordered the venezulan sandwich called patacon. It had flavor, but I wish it was little larger for $32 w/ tax and service charge.

We visited about two weeks ago as a large group. The place itself is very nice and comfortable, with an extensive menu and a great selection of beverages both local and imported which we really appreciated. The food was very tasty overall, and the arepas were especially delicious.

Now for the not-so-great part: it took quite a long time for our drinks to arrive. They seemed to be understaffed, though we remained patient, and our waitress was very friendly and clearly doing her best.

The payment process, however, was confusing. They don’t seem to have a clear system for splitting bills, so if you’re going with a group, I strongly recommend making it clear from the beginning that you want separate checks. On top of that, they initially tried to charge us a $500 catering fee which was pretty surprising. Thankfully, we were able to get that removed.

Overall, it’s a good place with great food, but there are definitely a few areas that need improvement.

This place deserves more than a 4.0! Both the chicken arepa and the carne asada arepa were delicious — full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The service was great too: fast, friendly, and welcoming. I’m honestly not sure why some reviews mention service as an issue because our experience was excellent. I’ll definitely be coming back again!

I really wanted to enjoy the food here because a few of my friends mentioned how delicious it was. I was really underwhelmed and disappointed. The lack of flavor and the price point doesn't justify going back to this place. The service was so so as well.

I do not normally write reviews but this time I was kinda surprised of this situation.
I asked for my receipt and checked everything 18% gratuity was charged, and no one told us about this, me and my friends regularly tip over 20% no matter what, cus we work in the industry, but when I asked if tip was included, the server told us that was already added “service” and told us that “TIP” was optional and could be cash, so on top of the 18% already charged we were suggested to leave more TIPS in CASH.
We definitely not coming back
Cus we always go to this place and we never ask for our receipt and on top of that we always leave cash on the whole amount without checking
We did not know about this
Gladly we asked for the receipt
Imagine since our first visit we tipped 40%
With both TIPS, the one already charged and cash after paying with card
