This is a convenient spot to grab a snack while visiting the pier. The pretzels smell amazing but we were on a mission for soft serve ice-cream. 4 of us ordered and the serving staff were nice and friendly. After receiving our treats, we were all surprised to taste the terrible grittiness in the soft serve. I am assuming that this was an off day and someone mixed the ingredients wrong, I don't think that there would be repeat customers otherwise! The vanilla taste was great...
Don't be deterred by the mediocre reviews! This place is a great place for a coffee, juice, quick lunch spot, snack, you name it. We got pretzel with cheese and a pretzel dog, for $14. Quick and nice service, clean facilities. They have a little condiment bar to the side with condiments, relish, onion, and slaw for the hot dogs. I was surprised to see how clean and well stocked the condiments were with plastic coverings for the condiments to keep it hygienic. There are also...
I really liked this place many years back, but things have changed. While the prices are still reasonable (for a tourist area), the quality isn't like it used to be. The kids did like the hot dogs, but the pretzels were over cooked with no flavor. The cheese cup used to be a lot bigger too.
