Food was okay. Branzino was good, the rest only okay. Deserts we're terrible, couldn't finish. Atmosphere was awful it was so loud couldn't event talk to the person right next to you. It's like being in a club only worse. get a carpet or maybe give the patrons noise cancelling heap in ones.

Came for brunch. Everything was divine. Gorgeous space on the corner so ample light. Highly recommend the pancakes (delightfully airy), the shakshuka, the radicchio salad, and the yogurt (rich with a cardamom-y essence).

First time having brunch there and both the shakshuka and French toast were great! There was a slight miscommunication about when the dishes should arrive and they proactively fixed it. I appreciated how particular they were about when each dish should arrive. I'll definitely be back.

Absolutely stunning place, lovely crew, extremely tasty and flavorous food!We ordered 3 dishes (1 appetizer, 1 main and a side dish), for tow people which was plenty. The waiters had fabulous menu suggestions and we went for it. Highly recommend pairing with wine if you’re going with red meat or fish dishes. They have another location in the city center which we’ll definitely go and try out next time.

Absolutely delicious Basteeya with the perfect balance of nutty sweet and savory and a beautifully delicate crust, fascinating cocktails (recommend the Swan Lake with mezcal yuzu and grapefruit) extremely friendly and helpful wait staff. Would absolutely recommend.

Beautiful space, service is attentive but sometimes overbearing.Food was beautifully presented but it’s so dark in there we could barely see our food. Overall a decent experience. I felt a lot of dishes were sauce heavy which seemed odd as this cuisine usually feels more light and fresh yet flavorful and strong without being weighty.Felt our waitress was sort of pushy and misleading with ordering, she didn’t verify quantities for our table of 7 and would just double or triple items without asking us. Also felt she would serve and reach in front of our faces and lacked a bit of spatial awareness. She also sometimes spoke to us in Spanish which threw us off. Other wait staff were attentive and polite.

My friend and I came here for a brunch and both of us were satisfied with what we've gotten. I ordered the roasted prawns, which was served with like a potato sauce/soup rather than mashed potatoes, but I'm not complaining and I in fact like it as it was very creamy and delicious with the sauces drizzled on top. The prawns themselves were all very fresh, big and meaty. My friend and I both love the cilantro topping. The smoked salmon egg Benedict was pretty good too, as the salmon was tender, thick, and not too smoky, the salad was freshly made with a decent refreshing dressing, and the eggs are perfectly poached with high quality eggs which you can tell by the orangish thick runny yolk. The roasted baby potatoes on the side are like the best roasted potatoes my friend and I have ever had, they might be fried, but it's very crispy, not hard, on the outside and soft like mashed potatoes on the inside, they were perfectly seasoned too. We also ordered the yuzu desert to share but my friend was in a rush for a date so we had it boxed and I took it home and forgot about it until the next day. Honestly I was very impressed by it because it has a very delicious and refreshing flavor and it's creamy with great consistency. I killed it in couple of seconds cause of how good it is. I wish my friend had a chance to try it. The restaurant itself have a nice environment, even tho we both think some tables are too closed to each others it's still big and wide enough for you to not overhear other's conversations or feel like it's too crowded or noisy. The staffs are nice too. They made sure nobody took our stuffs when we went out for a smoke. We honestly didn't know they have a brunch menu when we decided to come here, we were expecting some lamb shanks but we ended up happy for trying out their brunch items. It's a good experience overall and we will consider coming back again.
