I ordered from Bac Lieu for a party, and everything was amazing from start to finish. The ordering process was super easy, and they went above and beyond by delivering the food and even helping set up the table with napkins and utensilsโsuch a thoughtful touch that made hosting way less stressful.
I got a tray of garlic noodles and egg rolls, and both were a huge hit. The garlic noodles were packed nicely, full of flavor, and a great vegetarian-friendly option. The egg rolls were crispy, delicious, and paired perfectly with the fish sauce. By the end of the night, everything was goneโguests couldnโt get enough.
If youโre looking for great food and outstanding service, I canโt recommend Bac Lieu enough. They helped make the party a success, and Iโll definitely be ordering again!

The one is for pho. I have no idea why any of the reviews say this is legit pho. Not even close! My beef pho was lacking flavor, probably watered down.... I have heard they have a curry that is good but I didn't try that. I sadly feel like I wasted $22+ after tax and tip.... SF restaurants need to do better to expect customer to keep returning.

Decided to give this place a try and they did not disappoint! The prawns were bursting with flavor along with the sticky white rice. I will definitely return to try more items on the menu. I will try dining I. Next time to get the full experience.
Very good Vietnamese food in very basic surroundings. We particularly like the roasted quail, shrimp pancakes and chicken pho. The room is clean but basic, the staff is friendly and helpful. Bac Lieu does a very large take-out business.

Was craving noodle soup and so glad we tried this place! Quick and kind service. Our favorite was trying the banh khot, a southern Vietnamese dish that was so flavorful and aromatic!

Quickly sat. Clean table. Fast service. Great food. Vermicelli bowl was good and the imperial roll was great. Garlic noodles are buttery. Crisp tofu was silky inside.

Delicious pho ga. Can accommodate a sesame allergy. Clean interior and quick service.
Dietary restrictions: They easily accommodated a sesame allergy. Pho does not come with any sesame product and hoisin is always on the side. Dishware was clean so no concern of cross contamination there. Clearly kitchen was, too!
