Don't come here if you've had the real Bakesale Betty in Oakland. Don't come here if you haven't had it either. The chicken sandwich is sub sub par compared to the original in Oakland. Only the fries were good. For $40 you would have expected better. If you're going to have Bakesale Betty at the Chase Center, at least make it more legit.. Disappointed.

For arena food, it’s OK. Definitely not one of the best fried chicken sandwiches I’ve had.

I paid $20 for a bottle of water & a dry rubber chicken patty. It was terrible. I don't see the popularity of this place.

Chase Center is not just a state of the art stadium, but it also has the best stadium food I've ever had! Now I'm by no means saying this is the best chicken sandwich you'll ever have, but I gotta judge it for what it is - a stadium chicken sandwich that has a thick piece of crispy chicken with a nice layer of cole slaw & jalapeños on a soft brioche bun. The potato chips clean up any mess from the sandwich nicely. Also love that they have Mango Cart on tap! You can't compare the food here to the many wonderful restaurants of SF & the Bay, but you get high quality ingredients & good portion sizes that you can walk to your seat. I would give this a low 4 rating, but I feel the need to stand up for this fine stadium dining establishment so I'll round up. This place does not deserve a two star rating, I don't think most of the other reviewers have tried a lot of other stadium food, because this is soooooo much better than the imbalanced greasy preserved food you'll find at most stadiums

We decided to try Bakesale Betty's chicken sandwiches, while attending a concert at Chase Center this past weekend, one of my faves, Alicia Keys, finally on her world tour after a 2-year delay due to the pandemic (she was amazing btw). The sandwiches were ready made, which was good because that meant no waiting. And it still tasted hot and fresh when we ordered and received our items. The sandwich was a good size. and had a great slaw with sliced jalapanos adding some spice, and a range of condiments available at the station behind the storefront (Chase Center actually has these throughout the lobby), with ketchup, mustard, ranch, bbq sauce, relish, etc. as well as napkins and utensils. The chicken sandwich was delicious, and the fries were pretty standard, but satisfying. The service was great as well. The worker helping us was very friendly, and service was fast (the line moved quickly, and the food was given to us right away), this was before the start of the show on a Saturday evening.Bakesale Betty is an eatery based in Oakland, and they have several booths/stands at Chase Center for grabbing a quick and delicious meal at the venue, especially if looking for something not too heavy but still filling.

Probably have to be in Oakland to experience their best chicken sandwich. Chase center's is SF's worst.

No. No. No. I should have checked reviews before hopping in line. Instead, brand recognition took over and I was too excited to try Oakland's famous Bakesale Betty at the one and only Chase Center. I should have passed. Chicken sandwich is about $15. Sad to say probably the worst chicken sandwich I've had in my life. I compare it to a tasteless McChicken, if that makes sense. The chicken itself was bland, dry, and thin. The bun was hard with little to no sauce or spread. To make matters worst, the bun to chicken ratio was pretty bad. At every bite, all I felt like I was eating was tasteless bread! Do not waste your money. The only reason I'm giving this 2-stars instead of 1 is because service was quick. But that's really the only good thing I can say. At least the Warriors won.

I have never tried Bakesale Betty and there was no line so I bought a fried chicken combo and 2 water bottles. I believe with tip it was almost $40. Omg, that was probably the worst chicken sandwich I have ever had. It was hard and dry. The only thing that saved that combo purchase was the fries. Fries were basic, nothing special, but at least edible. I begrudgingly ate the sandwich because I couldn't get myself to throw away food even if it was inedible. Well I ate it, but not happy about it. If I was just able to find a stand with chicken tenders, I would not be writing this review, lol!

Standing in the Bakesale Betty line at Chase Center about 5 minutes before the start of the Warriors/Suns game I noticed the dismal overall 2-star yelp rating for this outpost. "Don't expect much" I uttered, as I stepped up to order 2 fried chicken salads ($14.50 apiece) and fries. Snaking my way into my seat with low expectations I found quickly that those expectations were, sadly, met. "Did someone really taste this cole slaw (the salad) and say 'oh, that's great, let's go with this'?" I asked. The cole slaw base is littered with large chunks of cabbage and bathed lightly in a perfectly unenticing dressing. "The chicken has a kick to it" was the next remark, and it does. There's a lot of it, so I can't fault BB's for that, but it's so dry and hard that I longed for something to dip it into, to soften it up. The fries were fine, neither the bet nor worst version I've sampled. The following day I told a friend that I'd been to the Warriors game the previous evening and her first question was "what did you eat?" Her response, when I told her, was "I've heard they're really good". Well, I've heard that too, but nobody is saying that about the Chase Center location. If you're looking for standard ballpark food fare (is anyone, especially in SF?) BB's delivers. The hype for the place promised more and better but the hype, it turns out, was just that. And: If you must try BB's, check the menu for a $5 discount for orders over $30 paid with your Chase credit card. You have to ask for the discount but when you do, it's quickly applied before your card is charged.

Hard pass next time. I have been to the bakesale Betty in the O. (It's FIRE!) And this one here is not the biz.!! The sandwich are definitely left for hella long under a heat lamp. Chicken so dry it was like eating jerky. Pass on this unless you like really dry food.

Dug up an old 2019 SFGate article about Bakesale Betty as being one of the more anticipated food stalls at the new Chase Center. They estimated 500 sandwiches would be sold at each game. Chase Center would showcase B.B. along with other beloved local businesses in the new Billion $ stadium arena. Love Bakesale Betty in Oakland and always felt more than satisfied with the Hefty chicken sandwich made fresh. Sadly, the chicken sandwich I had at the Chase Center was an absolute disgrace to the namesake original shop. My understanding is that the sandwich recipe is licensed out to Bon Appetit to replicate. The sandwich was simply terrible. The chicken edges were so hard it was inedible. And once you've made it to the sandwich center , the breast meat was tough & dry ... nothing like the way the Oakland bakery shop makes it. Bummer I had to choose this concession stand (Upper Concourse - Portal 55) for my one choice to grab a bite. Had it not been for the Special Event 50% off using a Chase credit card, it would have been even more upsetting. Stay clear of B.B. at Chase Center.

Will need to try it in Oakland. At the chase center it's dry and hard, huge portion, but found myself just trying to power through being I paid $28 fir the combo

Don't believe the hype. You'll likely get a dried out chewy chicken sandwich here. It's pretty inconsistent. Sometimes it can be amazing though

I was once a Bakesale Betty's evangelist bringing friends and family to the Oakland spot with the ironing boards. I'd rather eat an ironing board than whatever rubber puck they're trying to pass off as their famous buttermilk chicken sandwich. Betty! WTF?! Come save your reputation!
