Great tiki drinks. Small dance floor and DJ later At night on weekends

Last night my friends had a table at a nearby (not to be named) bar that would not let me bring my backpack in.
So I go to bamboo hut and ask if they’ll hold it.
They at first say no (I don’t blame them, I wasn’t buying anything and it was a busy Friday night)
Out of desperation I offered to pay them $100 to hold it
The woman goes to talk to the manager / owner, who comes up and says they’ll hold it.
Then they refused my money. Both of them.
It was a kind, simple interaction that really made the night of a stranger (me).
This review is the least I can do; these are good people

We visit this bar every time we visit SF. Amazing drinks with reasonable prices! The bartenders are always very nice and helpful! We had a wonderful experience each time

The most anti-social bar I have ever been to! I was here half an hour to an hour after they opened for the day- no wonder no one was here!
The doorman/bartender/owner spoke maybe a dozen words to me the entire time I was there.

The safest bar in North Beach! If you have any issues, let the bartenders know and said persons will be removed. Great drinks, amazing DJs, and the best Bartenders in the city! One of the best Mai Tai’s I’ve had and the volcano bowls are (on) fire ?!

The bartenders are warm, welcoming and efficient, The drinks match the great vibes, the dj read the room and, had everyone enjoying themselves in the best tiki bar I've ever been. I've been here twice and will definitely be back! 10/10

Lovely little hideaway. To grab some phenomenal tiki drinks made by possibly the best bartender to ever exist. Genuinely, a relaxing vibe is going on in there. Loved the little pufferfish lights and the giant tiki head to take photos by.The drinks we had were phenomenal, and the rest on the menu sounded great, too. Out of the few we've been to, I would recommend this one if you were looking to grab a drink and just relax either alone or with a few close friends.
