Was given a voucher for a free drink while staying at the hotel next door. However when i walked in the bar the bartender made a gesture slashing his throat and said i had to leave. I tried to say i was staying next door and he would t listen just said to leave, as i was leaving two other women walked in he told them they had to leave that the bar was closed, then a man walked in and he said “what can i get you” Apparently they dont serve women/femmes/queer folk at this bar, only men.

While i can't say their was anything wrong with my food, their wasn't anything great. Got the double smash burger on the bartenders reccomendation. Burger itself lacked any real flavor. The aioli on it was very good. $25 for an ok burger seems a bit much. House made chips were just ok. Cocktails were solid but took a long time and I sat at the bar.

Drinks, service and atmosphere is great. The bartender doesn't stop moving. Food is just ok. Turkey Club is a regular turkey sandwich not a club sandwich.

We had no clue where we were going. We simply got to our hotel and needed someplace to eat. What we got in Bartlett Hall was awesome! The server was awesome. She loved the food and drinks and it just made everything better.
We had some really great beers, including a “hot poke” that was more fun than anything. Check this place out.

Excellent beer and food, at a reasonable price - especially near Union Square. There's a full bar for people who aren't beer lovers. A great spot for everyone!

I'm from out of town and wanted an early dinner with good craft beer. I enjoyed the ambiance of the old building. As for food, the smash burger and fries were unexpectedly good. Significantly better than most pub grub. All three in-house beers that I tried were great as well. Can't wait to come back.

Were visiting SF for work and Bartlett Hall was around the corner from my hotel. Good food and a great selection of beer. Fun vibe!
Dropped in for a drink and dinner before a musical. Great location and fast service. Basic menu mostly burgers and salad. Wide selection of beer plus full bar.

Nice beer hall off of Union Square. Serving their own beers and full cocktail bar. Upscale bar food.
Great beer choice and 5oz pours

Had dinner here one night as it was just round the corner from our hotel. Food was average, not great but not bad. Decent sized portions but expensive, $22 for a smash burger and another $4 for fries. $5 for a can of sprite! $120 for 2 adults & 1 kids meal, 2 beers and a cider. The beers were ok, a little flat and not terribly full of flavor. Happy hour is 3-5pm, maybe save a few $$ by trying it then.

Do you like a great beer range but hate stinky dirty places? This is the bar for you. An out of town crowd enjoys a nice place for a beer and some stodgy good. Bartender is super polite and helpful. Food is quick and decent. Price is as you would expect. Sports on many TVs is cool if that’s your thing. Decor of the building is amazing and the playlist is quite good also.
