HINODEYA Ramen Union Square Reviews
Quick service, great ramen
Visited Hinodeya Ramen solo and thought it was a great spot for dining alone. The food was delicious—I ordered the chicken ramen and chicken karaage, and both were fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The service was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. Overall, a great ramen spot that I’d definitely recommend, whether you’re dining solo or with friends.
Very yummy. Good for solo dining or with a group of friends!

HINODEYA Ramen Union Square is a popular spot for enjoying Japanese cuisine in the heart of San Francisco's Union Square. The restaurant also has locations in the financial district and Chinatown. The ramen menu offers a variety of options, with the tofu ramen being a particularly tasty choice. Customers often praise the high-quality noodles, tender chashu meat, and flavorful broth in the ramen. The staff is attentive and friendly, and service is quick thanks to QR code ordering and payment, making it convenient for diners. The atmosphere is busy and casual, suitable for hanging out with friends. While some reviewers mention that the noodles could have more bounce and the bamboo shoots could be more tender, overall, it is a good place for a satisfying ramen meal. Additionally, the chicken karaage tossed in sauce is well-liked, and the restaurant offers a range of accompaniments to complement the dishes. Customers have also praised the unique Japanese dining experience, the cozy atmosphere, and the attentive staff, with one reviewer particularly appreciating the warm and friendly service of a staff member named Bun.
