The quality of the chain store is pretty good

An excellent place to eat Japanese food in Union Square, it also has other branches nearby in the financial area and China town near Kearny. The delicious ramen, there is a variety, the last one I tried was the tofu one, very delicious. Variety of accompaniments. Very attentive staff. But it fills up and sometimes you have to wait outside and in the cold that it is in San Francisco. Highly recommended ramen.

I usually don’t leave reviews like this but for some reason they kept on seating people that came after me, totally ignoring me when I tried to get their attention. A bit annoying since they don’t have reservations. I eventually just left when it became obvious that the person seating people didn’t want me to eat there. A shame cause it looked good but I got hungry and was tied of being ignored

This a little gem in the heart of SF! Open late, tastefully/thoughtfully curated, with all the ‘fixings. It hit the spot for a midnight snack, done well. I write reviews for places I want to support, because they care about their product, their ramen is made with love and care! Best ever, no, but everything you need to satisfy your ramen craving and then some…absofrickenloutely!

I had lunch at this small restaurant located just one block away from the Union Square. I tried only one ramen (the HINODEYA ramen) but was impressed.1. The noodle: I would described its texture as “Al dente” tender but chewy, not too soft and not too hard. High quality.2. The chashu meat: usually it comes with a trade off between too fatty but soft or too lean but tough to chew. The chef of this restaurant did it just right. The meat itself was lean, which I like a lot for health concerns. But the texture of the meat was surprisingly tender. Highly recommended3. The chef put a lot of chopped spring onions into the soup, which I like it a lot because they have a special aura. But if you don’t like spring onions that might be a concern.4. Service: excellent. It was lunch hour, and I occupied a table with four chairs. The boss tried to arrange customers who came after me in other tables, so that I didn’t have to share a table with strangers. Given the small size of the restaurant, I felt grateful to the boss.If I have to name something that I don’t like, I would say1. The nori was not crispy enough.2. The seasoned bamboo shoots were not tender enough. Good seasoned bamboo shoots should leave no debris in your month after chewing. These were not one of those.

Large, hearty portions of great ramen!Ordering could not be more straightforward from the QR code. I didn't have to enter a phone number or email to place an order and tipping was optional.I come to this place everytime in SF and portions are large enough that 2 light eaters would be good with an appetizer and an entree. Also, you get what you order. You get A LOT of your preferred protein in the meal . No skimping here at all!

Got takeout chicken curry and takoyaki. Both were great, and packaged really well to-go

I love the cleanliness of everything. The people are very polite. The place being small, you can wait outside. People are really calm and nice. They show respect no matter what you order. No matter how much you spend here. I just love ❤️

The kitchen is good. However, everything is not without problems... The 20% tax on the service because there are 5 of us at the table is a SCANDAL.Frankly, adding $30 to a bill without notifying us is a no-brainer!

Amazing little ramen shop with a bustling atmosphere. Very traditional preparation of the spicy miso ramen, noodles were perfectly done and the broth was very flavorful. This easily rivals some of the ramen I had in Osaka/Tokyo when I visited Japan.

Terrible ordering experience with a required email and phone number. System won't let you change tip, with lowest at 16% and 'other' button broken.Food: 'spicy' edamame was very garlic and not spicy. Level 4 spicy ramen also not spicy. Wish the ramen had more broth as it was good.

Located near Union Square its one of the few Ramen joints in the area. The broth was delicious but the ingredients are more of western fusion than completely Japanese but still loved it nonetheless. They have a QR code per table where you can order and pay directly online, this is the first time I have done this and it's pretty straightforward. Although you can still order manually the old fashion way.The staff is friendly and helpful, I actually left my wallet in the restaurant and they held on to it until I came back.

Came for a late meal. Nice that they have late hours. Ordering and payment all done through your phone which was really easy. Easy to customize your meals. Ramen itself was really nice, good broth and extra chasu pork was delicious. Service was really quick, servers were very friendly. I'll definitely go back for
