Food was good, service was good. Poor bartender was the only person doing dinner. The restaurant is the lobby of a hotel, and the my done seem to check open table. The bartender was surprised when we showed up as a party of 5 for a reservation.
Wow, wow, wow! The Barnes is a hidden gem. Perfectly located on Powell St, it’s in an incredibly safe area. I arrived at the BART station from the airport and walked with my suitcase the short two blocks (less than 5 minutes) £- so easy. This is THE place to stay and eat - on the famous tram street, central and safe.A nice vibe at the bar - the burgers were amazing! First and foremost shut out to Ace!! Amazing bartender and server. We came for a drink and their burger wich is so good by the way. But then we had Ace he's not only attentive and respectful but also friendly and very caring.
