Food is unbelievably expensive. The minimum to shell out for one breakfast dish is $20. Basic and least expensive coffee is $5. This is a diner next to the freeway. Quality of food was not good. What is the high price for?! I had oily, tasteless heuvos rancheros for $20 here and didn't even enjoy the ambience.

I called in to place an ordered , which was a pork chop breakfast. Menu prices said about $19.00 ( rounding it up ). Got there to pick up my order and the price for my order was $35.00 and some change. When I called in for an explanation, the employee stated that they changed their prices. But this information hadn’t been updated to inform the public.

Over 5 dollar coffee, and everything else is guaranteed 12 or more - For a diner that is next to a motel. 2 eggs are going to amount to 14 dollars. That is ridiculous. You can go to a supermarket nearby and grab 3 dozen eggs for 14 dollars (all of them could be organic eggs). I don't know why this place doesn't have as many bad reviews. Do not go here if you care a little about money.

MIL's request for her birthday breakfast. 8am on a Saturday and it's a little less than half full so we got to choose our spot. Definitely where the locals go. Sometimes we walk over but with the rain, we drove in. We sat at a booth with a view of Bayshore Blvd below and San Bruno Mountain in the distance. Pretty straight forward diner breakfast fare, huge and satisfying portions, and friendly, efficient service. They make sure your coffee mug is full. My usual is the Bayside Omelette (yummy hot links inside) and vary the sides depending on my mood - today it was hash browns and sourdough toast. Eric gets the Country Fried Steak and Eggs more often than not and MIL likes the Denver Omelette. Leaving a little before 10am, most of the booths are full! There is a small parking lot adjacent to the cafe and when that is full, parking along Hester is the next option.

Never again..... Came in for breakfast for two people walked out paying $94. I normally like to support local businesses, but I will never return to this spot again. .
This is a local favorite, as witnessed by how busy and friendly the staff is to patrons they recognize. This place is a sit down cafe/dinner, where they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner all day long. After our very early and long flight, we decided to try their breakfast. We both ordered their sausage breakfast. My wife, ordered the potatoes and country sausage, which was very good.I tried their hash browns and chicken sausage. We tried both, and we both agreed that we liked their country sausage better.Parking: We had to park on the side of the road.

This is a very local greasy spoon/diner for local black, hispanic & Asian customers. Excellent high turn over food so it's all fresh. Friendly staff. I can't say enough good things about this place. The hardware is a little old/beat-up. Small place with not a lot of tables and not so many parking spaces. Its also located in the down market part of SF. Now also open for dinner.

definitely i would not recommend it, we ordered our food and every family that came after us finished their food, we waited for 45 minutes and they totally forgot to make our food, the only service they gave us was a coffee that we didn't even finish because we were waiting for our food, the worst part was that they wanted us to pay for the coffee after all, and they gave me the check when i didn't ask for it, we didn't pay of course, the worst service we ever had from a restaurant.

I would say this is a standard cafe. The country style potatoes were hyped up but I found them average. Can’t imagine ever going back but the food was standard and not upsetting, did have a nice local vibe. Perhaps slightly more expensive than I would want for the food provided.
