Been here before and that's why I came back again. Seriously great food at a reasonable price and for San Francisco being expensive, that is saying something! Great spot for lunch with your friend or unwinding after work. The staff there were friendly enough though not really attentive when it came to the refilling of our water and drinks. Took 15 minutes to finally get water. But the food is the reason to come. Pasta dishes with fresh sauce, French fries that are hot and crispy, sandwiches made fresh to order, and so much more.

I love this place! I was staying nearby and kept getting drawn back in. The vibe is amazing and the food is never disappointing. Nearly always have to wait for a table but with good reason. The servers will always find you a table and never forget you're waiting. Highly recommend.

Lovely service, great food. I'm told the soup of the day is always worth betting on; the chowder certainly was.

Plenty of outdoor seating!! A little cramped inside if there's a good bit of people, but I went around 9p and had a great time

I checked out the menu before going and was not overly impressed. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The spinach salad was off the hook. Pork tenderloin special was cooked perfectly, moist, and tasty. The other specials looked good as well. Portions are generous. Wait staff was awesome, good humored.

Bell Tower is a quintessential San Francisco gem! This charming neighborhood diner is my absolute go-to spot. They offer consistently spectacular food and expertly-made cocktails—you genuinely can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. A huge shout-out to the team: Megan, Jeremiah, and Barbie always make you feel like a regular with their incredibly friendly and attentive service. Fair warning: Bell Tower has an obvious and devoted local following, so it fills up quickly! Definitely plan ahead with an early arrival or a reservation. On the bright side, they're perfect for a late-night fix since the kitchen is open until midnight and the bar until 2 AM. Do yourself a favor and check out this fantastic spot!

Bell Tower’s French onion soup isn’t just soup - it’s molten cheese therapy. The onions are so perfectly caramelized they probably trained at Le Cordon Bleu, and the Gruyère stretch deserves its own Cirque du Soleil act. I went with a friend, but honestly, it felt like a third date with the soup. 10/10 would risk burning my tongue again.

We've been coming to BT since before Trump's Plague and were relieved that it survived that scourge. The food has always been unpretentious and generous, both in flavor and size. It's actually our go-to not only for late-night eats but for their pulled pork nachos and truffled macaroni and cheese. And french onion soup. The waitstaff has always been very friendly, diligent and personable. The prices are spot on.

I really wish they'd open another place up at Tahoe because they'd do really well and their vibe is just what SLT needs.

Parking can be a bit trying but it's worth it. There's no threat from semis or anything really bad (see my review about the mochi donut place in Sacramento) so you'll be safe crossing the street.

Anyway take your appetite and go. You won't be disappointed.
