For many years I've passed this place and never thought of it. One day I was craving for Chinese and decided to come here. I'm so glad I did! This place is like a hole in the wall. It's not fancy but the people who works here have been doing this for decades. The food is delicious and fresh. A majority of the time I order the food it's hot and packed. They do not skimped on the food. This is out to go for Chinese takeout!
I ate here as a kid and have many fond memories. I remember really good Chinese food, everyone in the family was happy with no complaints. I came by to do take out a few days ago and the food is lovely, cooked with care and just good old comfort Chinese food. The portions are HUGE, prices are decent, what else can you ask for? The price is cheap and the portions are big. As a cable car operator, sometimes I need a big meal to get through my physical work day. Sun Kwong hits the spot. Conveniently located on the cable car route, there are some of us cable car operators that come here everyday. Is it the best Chinese food ever? No. Is the restaurant super nice and upscale? No. It's just good big portioned food at a low price.
