Large location, very crowded, but also due to the good location on Fishermans Wharf. The soup in the bread was very tasty (tomato soup and chilli) and relatively inexpensive. Otherwise, we can highly recommend Boudin.

The typical clam soup served in a bun. It's not bad but you pay the price of caviar to be in the tourist area of Fisherman's Wharf. It's practically self-service. We also tried the crab sandwich, weak. Very good cookies.

It was really cool seeing the bread being made and then delivered to the cafe in the baskets that moved along the ceiling of the building. The chowders were amazing! I gave 4 stars because the grilled crab cheese sandwich bread was burnt and the whole thing was dry. The staff was very nice though and hard working!
