Blue Mermaid was a revelation. We came on Mother's Day 2025 as our friend was staying at the Argonaut hotel. Brian, our server, was so nice and attentive. He was also very friendly and on point. The food portions were very good. The New England Clam Chowder was just the way i like it with not too many potatoes. The popcorn shrimp, calamari, salad with crab louie and tuna crudo were all generous for small plates. Three of us barely finished all the food. We will come back...
We had a great experience for brunch! The food was delicious and such a variety of dishes for everyone to enjoy. The entire staff was lovely as well and everyone was so helpful. We will definitely be back!
Supported Restaurant Week with a lunch visit to Blue Mermaid. Ordered Ahi Tuna Carpaccio and Branzino and my friend requested Warm Shrimp Salad and Market Mushroom Fritters. All were excellent and well presented. Both Carpaccio and Shrimp Salad were refreshing. Shrimp Salad had three whole shrimps which I thought was generous.
