I love donuts, and I love custard even more, so I naturally had to pick up a crumb custard donut! However, I'm not sure if it was just the batch, but the custard tasted like SOAP. Or some other industrial cleaning liquid, with a zing to it. Very nasty and inedible.
The other raised crumb donut I got was delicious though, as was the cinnamon sugar mochi one. Super tasty.
So maybe it was just a one-off, but I'm not risking the custard ones here again...

We have had so many mixed experiences with this place but recently all bad. Came once to it fully closed because the guy left with no note no sign and came back to a huge line after getting himself takeout. Thatās fine but like leave a note?
Just went in to get something and there was almost no inventory at all not to mention the guy working there was on speaker phone ignoring me and another girl for 4 mins before acknowledging us at all.
The layout here is awful you cannot see the doughnuts at all the boxes stacked so high make it impossible to place your order also.

Wow, never thought I would give Bobās a negative review but have no choice but to warn others. I was so disappointed. I ordered an Apple Fritter which is their mainstay item and the employee warned it was vegan. No problem, vegan donuts are great. I paid and bit into it and it was. So bad. It look like it was made of whole wheat too, it had no flavor. I actually had to throw it away which I hated to do but it was inedible. I turned back and asked the employee if it was made of whole wheat and they said they didnāt know. Really disappointed - wouldnāt an employee know their donuts? It was a Saturday and brunch hours. Bobās you broke my apple fritter loving heart :-( .

We love bobs. Weāve been going to the one on Polk for over 10 years. This location, even though we have given it so many chances, is terrible. Iām so sad. Over fried, under proofed donuts that arenāt soft inside and have thick crust on the outside. They have hardly any fillings and the staff generally seems to hate being there (which Iām sure isnāt their fault). Iām only writing this because itās been so many times that I finally had to say something. I hope it improves, we would love to be able to come here regularly!

The doughnuts were wonderful!! Lots of fun choices! Worth the drive for a doughnut place opened in the afternoon. The lady didnāt seem thrilled to be at work! But the taste was worth it!

Fantastic donuts, horrible attitude. Unless you've got a toothache there's no reason to be this rude and roll your eyes at the customer. Yes, some of us are stupid and are holding everyone else up, but why do I get an eyeroll when I'm in and out of the shop in 2 minutes because I know exactly what I want, treating you kindly and pay quickly?
