This restaurant is just so good. The people really put care into the food and know how to cook unlike my opinion about most north beach restaurants. The owner is there and an expert on food and a soulful and real person.
The owner and staff are amazing. They are actively walking around and making you feel welcome and like a regular. We showed up without a reservation and some regulars were happy to scoot over and make room at the bar. Food was great and we had a really great time.
We sat in a small room with 2 other tables and were seated first. We were ignored and the other tables received bread and water before ours. The food was good but only one person paid attention to us, a no d was working mostly in another room. Shame that we won't be back😢
