This is my favorite Boudin location in the city. First of all, their cookies are the BEST! The wait can get a bit long during peak times and they sometimes run out of the good stuff, but the super friendly staff more than make up for it. Special thanks to the evening team who go out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Locals tip - load up on the discounted gift cards from Costco and binge like a boss when you're here.

This is gotta be the most disappointing and most embarrassing thing I have ever seen in a cafe! One customer was upset that they didn’t have coffee and she left very angry and I had to wait a total of 30 whole minutes just for a French Fry!!!! After I tapped my card I was very disappointed about the speed of service being slow and the long wait for the order! This cafe is just so disorganized and slow!!!!

I’m very disappointed in this cafe! I won’t be coming back anytime soon. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves!!!

Spent $40 plus tip for two sandwiches. We had food left over and they wouldn’t give us a to go bag without paying .26 cents with the option to tip again on top of the .26 cents.

I had a satisfactory experience eating here! I came here because the Panda Express closed down. I ordered a house fries and a fountain drink. The fries tasted good but I had to wait a long time. Overall Im pretty satisfied but the down downside is the long wait. The staff were also friendly and the fries were budget friendly! I would consider here again in the future!

I’ve been a loyal customer of this Boudin location since my high school days in the late 1980s, and I’ve always enjoyed coming here. Unfortunately, today I experienced the worst service I’ve ever had. Management should ensure that cashiers are properly trained to LISTEN carefully to customers’ orders and not discourage them from requesting receipts—especially when an order is incorrect. Please consider retraining your cashier, Essie (I believe that is her name), to help prevent this from happening again.

The fruit bowl is small for the price.

Normally I would say the food was great but they goofed this time. We were first customers at opening and ordered two sandwiches to take to the ball game. What a disappointment to find they had not used fresh bread. That's one of the best things they do - make their own bread. The sandwiches lacked that fantastic fresh bread. I did call and talk to a manager and they'll make good on what happened.

Very good food. For me the fries were perfectly seasoned, but might be too salty for others. Sandwich was delicious.

It's actually really sad. I've always enjoyed Boudin's. Today was by far the unsatisfactory service EVER. They have a bagger person that helps arrange your to go orders. She doesn't smile, aside from the fact. We have had the misfortune of not receiving food in the past and having to return. We checked the bag while the bagger made a disturbing facial expression. Come to find we were missing an order. When we brought it to her attention. There was no apology, she looked at our receipt and simply said it will be right out. When the items exceed our bag space she even had the audacity to charge us for another bag. Without any remorse. Only to find when time to enjoy .... The pastrami melt HAD no Monterey Jack cheese as described....
This is enough to not return. If they have workers that don't care, speaks volumes for their lack of customer service skills. I can't even say we enjoyed the food based on this experience.

Paid over $18 for cold crab macaroni and cheese. They were busy, so I didn't want to bother the employees but it was disgusting, especially for the price. It may be good once it is heated at home, but the employee I asked for a Mac 'n Cheese lid to take it to-go seemed incredibly annoyed.
Husband went up to ask for a bag, but no one was there except the cashier who was taking orders.

I had the open crab melt, but sadly, it wasn't what I was expecting. Bread was already soggy from the bottom. Couldn't even taste the crab it was mostly sauce. The thing I hated the most was the cold center. It was refrigerator cold. Totally killed it when I was expecting something hot as most melts are. It feels like it was microwave. Top and bottom hot but cold center.

I am deeply concerned about this establishment’s practice of storing boiling hot soup in plastic wrap-lined steel containers. This method poses significant health risks to customers, as exposing plastic to high temperatures can cause harmful chemicals to leach into food.

A study published in Environmental Science & Technology found that everyday plastic items leached *hundreds to thousands* of chemicals into water at 40°C (104°F), leading to measurable toxicity in vitro (Zimmermann et al., 2021).

Critically, even “BPA-free” plastics are not necessarily safe. Studies have shown that many BPA-free alternatives still release endocrine-disrupting chemicals under heat and stress, sometimes at levels comparable to or even greater than BPA-containing plastics (Bittner et al., 2014). The assumption that BPA-free plastics are harmless has been increasingly challenged by toxicological research.

Moreover, a review by the National Center for Health Research warns that heating food in plastic containers can cause chemical migration into food, increasing potential health risks (National Center for Health Research, 2021).

Additionally, recent studies indicate that chemicals leaching from plastic takeout containers into food can contribute to heart damage and an increased risk of cardiovascular disease (Yang et al., 2023).

Given the well-documented dangers associated with plastic and heat, it is alarming that this establishment would prioritize convenience over customer safety. Such practices not only endanger health but also undermine trust in food safety standards. This blatant disregard for well-established health risks necessitates immediate corrective action to ensure the well-being of patrons.

Ordered a bread bowl online at 11am for 6pm pickup, and when I got there they told me they ran out. They didn't bother calling or anything. They then said they couldn't give me a refund.
