Was hungry for a bacon cheese sandwich which was delicious and they even give you chips with it. Ate in the outside area and people watched.
Was my first time using their kiosk to order tho was very efficient and my order was perfect.
Thank you!
It's actually really sad. I've always enjoyed Boudin's. Today was by far the unsatisfactory service EVER. They have a bagger person that helps arrange your to go orders. She doesn't smile, aside from the fact. We have had the misfortune of not receiving food in the past and having to return. We checked the bag while the bagger made a disturbing facial expression. Come to find we were missing an order. When we brought it to her attention. There was no apology, she looked at our receipt and simply said it will be right out. When the items exceed our bag space she even had the audacity to charge us for another bag. Without any remorse. Only to find when time to enjoy .... The pastrami melt HAD no Monterey Jack cheese as described....
This is enough to not return. If they have workers that don't care, speaks volumes for their lack of customer service skills. I can't even say we enjoyed the food based on this experience.
Paid over $18 for cold crab macaroni and cheese. They were busy, so I didn't want to bother the employees but it was disgusting, especially for the price. It may be good once it is heated at home, but the employee I asked for a Mac 'n Cheese lid to take it to-go seemed incredibly annoyed.
Husband went up to ask for a bag, but no one was there except the cashier who was taking orders.
Closed as of March 10, 2025 due to vermin.
I had the open crab melt, but sadly, it wasn't what I was expecting. Bread was already soggy from the bottom. Couldn't even taste the crab it was mostly sauce. The thing I hated the most was the cold center. It was refrigerator cold. Totally killed it when I was expecting something hot as most melts are. It feels like it was microwave. Top and bottom hot but cold center.
I am deeply concerned about this establishment’s practice of storing boiling hot soup in plastic wrap-lined steel containers. This method poses significant health risks to customers, as exposing plastic to high temperatures can cause harmful chemicals to leach into food.
A study published in Environmental Science & Technology found that everyday plastic items leached *hundreds to thousands* of chemicals into water at 40°C (104°F), leading to measurable toxicity in vitro (Zimmermann et al., 2021).
Critically, even “BPA-free” plastics are not necessarily safe. Studies have shown that many BPA-free alternatives still release endocrine-disrupting chemicals under heat and stress, sometimes at levels comparable to or even greater than BPA-containing plastics (Bittner et al., 2014). The assumption that BPA-free plastics are harmless has been increasingly challenged by toxicological research.
Moreover, a review by the National Center for Health Research warns that heating food in plastic containers can cause chemical migration into food, increasing potential health risks (National Center for Health Research, 2021).
Additionally, recent studies indicate that chemicals leaching from plastic takeout containers into food can contribute to heart damage and an increased risk of cardiovascular disease (Yang et al., 2023).
Given the well-documented dangers associated with plastic and heat, it is alarming that this establishment would prioritize convenience over customer safety. Such practices not only endanger health but also undermine trust in food safety standards. This blatant disregard for well-established health risks necessitates immediate corrective action to ensure the well-being of patrons.
Ordered a bread bowl online at 11am for 6pm pickup, and when I got there they told me they ran out. They didn't bother calling or anything. They then said they couldn't give me a refund.
The stonestown location is unbearably slow. I just recently went and got a refund on my order after waiting 20 minutes for my vegetarian breakfast burrito, while it being the only order they were working on. They claimed it took that long to cook the eggs? The customer service is terrible, the location was dirty despite me getting there at opening, and it is just unacceptable how long EVERYTHING takes there.

This place is like a panera bread. We really enjoyed the soup that we ordered. I'd definitely eat here again.

Yesterday around 5 pm was enjoying my Bruschetta pizza, my friend and I were sharing, until I felt a sharp pain on the right side of my throat. Tried ignoring it, until i realized the pain would persist, it has gotten worse. I still feel throat pain 12+ hours later. My friend brought this up to a supervisor, the supervisor said "what do you want me to do about it", she refused a refund initially because we "finished most except for a little piece" YEAH BECAUSE THATS WHEN THE PAIN STARTED!
She said she couldnt do anything about it, because she was just a supervisor, and her manager had rejected the idea of the refund, especially since i "had just ordered on a kiosk." Um hello, cant or wont? It wasn't till i went up to the counter and loudly cried in the store about the pain, I just felt so dismissed.
You care more about it when your reputation is at risk. she went back to the manager to approve a cash refund.
Completely careless management, acting as if I just selfishly wanted a refund.. my LIFE is at risk here and your management team was worried about $11 dollars? Is that how little a customers health is worth to you? Israel Storm you are a selfish person, caring more about having to process a refund than my pain from YOUR pizza because of careless food handling. I tried asking her to ask her staff about wheather they might have broken something to cause a mini sharp shard to land in my food, she said she would check in with her staff "later" so i waited. She went back to the back, for around 20+ more minutes i waited, still nothing so I left. This should immediately be investigated. My throat hurts each second i breathe now.

First and last time I eat at this location. Came by for a BLT, Soup and Salad but what I got was a 25+ min wait all for them to get my order wrong. Not sure if their POS system was malfunctioning or something but everyone waiting could hear them confused about what orders were coming out and remaking orders that had already gone out. All of this is forgivable but they made no attempt to communicate their delays and instead opted to have everyone wait in confusion. Honestly had this not been my first experience I'd likely not be so annoyed but oh well.
