Without hyperbole, Braid Bakery makes the best babka I’ve had in my life. It’s freshly made to your order, it’s light, it’s soft, it’s just a delightful loaf. I recommend the cinnamon and walnut one, but they also have chocolate.They also have weekly Friday loafs, which are so light, but also hearty. I am feel spoiled that there are so many incredible bakeries popping up in the outer sunset! Braid bakery is a must try. I got their savory babka and Madeleine. This is the first time I've had a freshly made Madeline, and it was so refreshing, light, and wonderfully lemony! I'm just waiting for their next pop-up to have it again. Love this bakery when I'm craving all the babka and challah sandwiches! It's rare to come across a bakery that has delicacies like this in the city, so would recommend at least stopping by to check out the offerings. I like that they have a good enough range of bakery goods to get a gauge-three different kinds of sandwiches, four different kinds of pastries!
