Hidden gem! Everything we tried was delicious. Highlight was the tea leaf salad. Also liked the Burmese Mixed Vegetable Curry, and the Bamboo and Vegetables. Server was also friendly.
Staff is arrogant, guy at the front didn’t let me use a restroom, even though I was picking up the order

Tasty Burmese food. The place was empty and we ate in, but seems like a lot of people order takeout. I would def return

My friend recommended this place and I went to try it with my husband on Friday night.
We ordered chili beef, tea leaf salad, orange chicken and all good and the tea leaf salad was really good.
I will definitely go back and try other dishes there.

Long time wait
Fried chicken with bamboo shoots
The tea salad here was incredible! It is just as good if not better than Burma superstar. We also really enjoyed the coconut rice and the mango chicken. I highly recommend going here! Do note there isn’t a ton of seating so if it’s a weekend & you want to eat there, I’d definitely call ahead for reservations. Otherwise, they do take out as well.

tldr; this place is better than Berma Love.
It may look like just another lunch place in the design district, but it's really a hidden gem. The food is delicious. The flavors are subtle and complex. If you are in the neighborhood, give them a try!!
Edit: came back and had the garlic eggplant, coconut rice, and platha with coconut chicken dip. Everything was delicious, but the coconut dip was divine!!! It's like a party in my mouth. An absolute must have.

Not sure what's up with all the great reviews on this place (maybe theyre paid?) but food was extremely underwhelming. Pad Thai had very little taste and was average quality. Also the tea leaf salad was just some basic shredded romaine and the tiniest little bit of tomato. Very very underwhelming. Would not recommend this place unfortunately
