Burmese Kitchen offers delicious and fresh Burmese food in a cozy setting. The staff is friendly and attentive, even with only one person working there. The menu features must-try dishes like the tea leaf salad, coconut chicken soup, and pork with pickled mango. While the location may not be the cutest, the quality of the home-cooked food surpasses nearby restaurants like Mandalay and Burma Superstar. The owner grows his own sour leaf vegetable to ensure it’s available all year, which makes the Sour Leaf and Shrimp dish especially special—whether vegetarian or with shrimp. The BK Lady Fingers/Okra is a crispy delight that shows how well okra can taste when prepared correctly. The garlic egg noodles are flavorful and not too salty, and the coconut rice is great. The Balangchuang adds a spicy pop for those who enjoy heat. Overall, Burmese Kitchen remains a highly recommended spot for flavorful Burmese cuisine, with consistent quality and authentic dishes.
