Randomly stopped by on a weekday and the place is really small. Couple seats inside and some outdoor seating. Really solid meal if you want something quick to go. I haven't had my fair share of cheesesteaks other than the Costco frozen ones lol. Was an extra dollar to add all the toppings to make it great and I forgot to add the bell peppers. They also have sauces at the counter you can pour on since it can get repetitive with the simple ingredients. Not an outstanding sandwich but still delicious nonetheless and if you want something new, here ya go.

You didn't think you could get bang for your buck in San Francisco? Welp you've never been to busters then. Oh you see they are doing regular size portions for regular prices here right? You must think the food isn't good then. You're wrong again. Now you're 0 for 2. Stop making yourself look silly buster and listen to me. This is just good ole fashion Philly, hamburgers and fries. No frills. You can get a hot dog too. Why not? It's not going to be the best you ever have. But it's Just good simple junk food in a super convenient location in North Beach. You can find real value here. Don't question me Buster. I'm telling you the truth. (4.5 Stars)

Came in for a late dinner after 9pm. Service was great! We ate at the restaurant with our toddler. She enjoyed some freshly made fries. Sandwiches were very filling, I ordered a small Philly cheesesteak sandwich.

After a night of walking, this was the perfect meal. Hot, crispy, and delicious. The staff was also exceptionally nice. They recommended the hot garlic honey, which melted perfectly into the beef onions. The fries were fresh. The bread had the perfect crunch.

Small establishment that serves cheese steaks, burgers, and more. Could probably seat like 8 people here shoulder to shoulder.Ordered their steak-stone (L) and mushroom philly cheese steak (S). Love the hot honey cheese steak sauce.. had the right balance between heat and sweetness... not one for cheese steaks but this place left a good impression! I plan to come back in the future.
This place has the best Cheesesteak sandwiches at the best prices! My favorite is their Stone-Steak Anniversary sandwich! Recommend getting the large. For just a couple of more dollars, you get double the sandwich!

Look, I LOVE Buster's. So I ordered through doordash and got my sandwich, which, usually comes with a slightly toasted bread. I monitored my order on the app and thought to myself that damn, my order is out fast! I fear that most businesses, in the city anyway, treat delivery orders with less care and respect for customers who take the time to come in and order. Please dont be like this Buster's, you're better than this

The best way to decribe busters is Original and Juicy. I always order vi ma DoorDash when I want a cheesesteak that's not Amoroso bread and is bread from local shops. Not entirely sure if the meat is STKEZE but either way it's juicy, has tons of flavor and w/ onions and sweet/hot peppers, best combo for cheesesteaks in general. The service is great. It's fast because you literally see the sandwiches made and 5 ft away from you. You'll get the best sandwiches within 5 minutes or so. Place is very old school and small but it does the job. You can literally eat on the counters, outside and since it's fast service you can eat your cheesesteak literally anywhere lol. Busters is a staple and will for sure be here to stay in SF.
We were on our way to a show and decided to stop in for a quick bite. A quick search of the surrounding area for burgers and Buster's Cheesesteak popped up. While I wanted a 1/2 lb cheeseburger, my husband wanted a cheesesteak sandwich. We ordered both but should have stuck with one because the portions were huge. I upgraded to a combo so that we could have fries and a drink as well. I definitely overdid it. The crinkle cut fries were fried fresh so they were piping hot. The portion was again huge for one person but perfect for two. The burger was massive so we ate the burger, fries, and half of the cheesesteak sandwich, saving the rest for later. I should have requested grilled onions instead of raw (I forgot) but I did remember to ask them to hold the mayo. The cheesesteak was really good though. Everything was tasty and our cravings were satisfied. Honestly, I'm not sure what I was thinking when we ordered so much food other than that I was hungry. Buster's is open late so it's the perfect food spot for those late night cravings.

Not impressive but OK with reapect to the price. Cheesesteak was good but the large sandwich was not that large. Also the cheese on the fries felt like a liquid alternate to cheese or something.

Had the Mushroom Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. Could be more flavorful, ketchup or sauce makes it better. Parking is difficult.
