Quiet, small calm cafe serving the works.
Ordered an Iced Dirty Chai which tasted like fall time. I stopped by around 11 am - I imagine the vibe is different when there's a performance taking place at the same time.

I love the cafe, but the hours are very strange, and I find myself choosing other options when looking for a coffee or tea. A lot of people who work in the building start their day before 8:30, and would love to go to cafe valor instead of the nearby starbucks, peets, and bakeworks. Having a Monday and Friday open and a mid-week closure would also probably bring in a lot more people looking to treat themselves before or after a weekend.Other than that, the staff is wonderful,...

I tried to pay with cash but they don't have coins to return change. As I didn't want to add any more to the already rather expensive treat (at more than $5.50!) I used my phone instead. The register wouldn't do anything so she had to use the portable machine.
