Max's Opera Cafe Reviews
Stopped in for lunch today. I was hungry, so I ordered the matzah ball soup and turkey sandwich with potato salad and coleslaw. My dining companion ordered the spinach salad. Everything was delicious. The soup was overflowing with shredded chicken and the matzah ball was hearty. Portions were large, so I ended up taking half the sandwich and sides home. Service was friendly and fast. Would highly recommend Max's Opera House Cafe for anyone looking for an excellent meal...read full review

Max's Opera Cafe offers good service and live music in a clean setting. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible and conveniently located. A small Caesar Salad was crisp and fresh, setting the scene for a full meal experience. While service can sometimes be slow, the variety of food options, including an all-day breakfast menu, helps keep customers satisfied. The old-style charm, especially during piano events, adds to the ambiance with a grand piano enhancing the atmosphere. Many guests enjoy the friendly staff and the beautiful building. The food receives positive comments, like the Caesar Salad and the large crème brûlée, which is a great deal at $11 despite being very sweet. Some customers have experienced slow service, but overall, the restaurant remains a popular spot for live music and a cozy dining environment. The Russian Cabbage soup, with brisket and a sweet-sour flavor, is a favorite that keeps guests coming back.
