We had one night in San Francisco after a 10 day national park trip through NorCal and Oregon. We wanted a good Omakase experience and Hinata fit the bill. Excellent experience, the food was prepared perfectly. Highly recommend.

The restaurant's hospitality and beautifully designed interior transport diners to a different world. The sushi is described as phenomenal, with the freshest fish and intricate flavors, making each piece delicate, fresh, and full of flavor. Diners can choose the grand omakase with beverage pairing for a truly special meal, which is highly recommended. The price for 18 pieces of nigiri is $95 per person, making it one of the more affordable options in the city, with the total cost slightly over $120. Many note that none of the courses feel “not fresh,” offering great value. While the sake sampler may not be a must-try, the staff's impressive knowledge of sake enhances the meal. Diners also appreciate the corkage fee of only $35, adding to the overall value.
