I was disappointed by the lack of basic amenities and the owner's dismissive attitude. The restaurant’s bathroom had no trash can for feminine hygiene products, which is a basic necessity. To avoid clogging the toilet, I took my trash out and politely asked the owner if they had a trash can elsewhere. I also kindly suggested they add a small bin in the bathroom for obvious reasons.
Instead of acknowledging my reasonable request, the owner simply stared at me without a word, then used his eyes to motion toward a trash can at the back of the restaurant—still saying nothing. His demeanor was unwelcoming and rude.
Later, when I was at my table, I asked politely for some water. Once again, the owner completely ignored my request, saying nothing. At that point, I felt so disrespected and mistreated that I decided to leave without even trying the food.
If you value respectful service and a considerate environment, I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Terrible experience—avoid this place at all costs.
Our first visit was disappointing, with painfully slow service that felt like it took forever. We decided to give it another chance, but that was a mistake. The second time, the waiter refused to serve us unless we met a per-person order limit, even though we were with two little kids. The place was nearly empty, yet we ended up leaving with a hungry child. When I asked how much we had ordered so far, the waiter rudely told me to count it myself.
Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Stopped by to get a famous Russian dessert. Service was sub-par, as was the ambience - mainly because no-one was around (no customers too around 7pm). But my main concern is with the dessert - it was half the size of what you get at other places in the neighborhood for twice the price and after being told that it is the best in town, my girlfriend said it tasted "like feet" and it was truly that bad - we had to trash it after one bite It's one of my favorite desserts and I was looking forward to it after being shown so much confidence & pride by the person selling me the item, but it was a huge disappointment & hence I can't help it but leave a bad review
You know if you’re advertising yourself on here at least share correct business hours. Drove for half an hour towards you and back in rain only to find that you’re closed even though your Google profile says you’re open until 9 pm on Mondays!

I recently visited this place. They are serving Central and Eastern European-inspired dishes. The location is a bit off the main path, but easy to find. The food was tasty, with generous portions and authentic flavors. However, I found the prices a bit high compared to other places in the area. Still, it’s a good option for those wanting to try this cuisine.

If you come with a company and the order is not for all people, be prepared that you will not be served :)
We had a terrible experience in this cafe. We came as a family, ordered two dishes and wanted to sit down together, but the owner was rude, saying, "This is ridiculous, why come to a restaurant if you don't want to eat." It's very hard to call it a restaurant with such an attitude towards guests. The menu looks like it's been wiped on your feet. The atmosphere is repulsive.

I didn’t like it 😔 First time leaving a negative review 👎
The waiter was not very friendly: he didn’t say how long to wait for your order (we are with 2 small children, this was important), he didn’t say what portion of soup there would be (although there are 2 options on the menu: cup and bowl. He said how much it will work out.
The portions are very small. Dumplings with cherries - 3 pcs 🙄
The atmosphere is not cozy, the glass is broken.

We are infrequent patrons but this is always at the top of our minds whenever we're near Presidio Heights. Today was potato pancakes, beet salad, stuffed cabbage with mashed potatoes, and Hungarian goulash with pork. On the menu listed as beef. Pork was delicious. . A tea and a non alcoholic beer for tonight.
Nice quiet place to dine. Friendly host/owner. Some of the best mashed potatoes in town.
Recommended dishes: Beef Stroganoff, Potato Pancakes, Cabbage Roll with Mashed Potatoes, Latkes with Mushroom Gravy and Sour Cream, Hungarian Goulash
We stopped here late on a Wednesday night in October after a day in Santa Rosa. It was delicious and a lovely server took care of us.

Leaving a positive review before we even leave the restaurant - the meal was that food! Delicious, authentic, and hospitality that makes you feel like you’re dining with old friends.
Love this restaurant! Good atmosphere and great food! Would love to go there again and try other things

Stick-to-your-bones and hearty Central and Eastern European restaurant — serving warm dishes perfect for a cold, foggy day. Step in to the smell of schnitzel frying in the kitchen — it doesn’t get more authentic than this.
Pork Schnitzel — crispy fried and pounded tender, thick enough still to have a chew. Sautéed sour cabbage and carbohydrate side, perfect. Borscht, excellent.
Georgian Saperavi wine, a nice accompaniment.
