Coffee was ok but the servers were very rude to us about asking for whipped cream in the coffee? If you’re gonna be snobbish you need better than a 6/10 brew

The coffee is always good here. I tried the breakfast burrito today and it was so bland ?
I’ll have to try another dish next time.
The service was really nice ??

I deleted an old 5 star review because the staff have really changed into being unkind and it has been really affecting my experience here. I kindly asked for a small top off on a cup of coffee to a man who was sorting cups and he blankly pointed me to the back of a 20 person line. It was a level of rudeness that was so illogical it made me feel horrible as a customer. Things like this would never happen with the old staff. The food and coffee are still good I just will not sing its praises to others until something is done about the attitude of the staff. It's unfortunate because it's not all the staff I'm sure but enough to have several negative experiences in a row.

I’m allergic to dogs. One reason I come here everyday is because they have a sign that says dogs not allowed.
Inspite of that educated stupid dog owners happily bring their dogs inside. I hope the employees politely remind their customers of the food safety rule.
I’m happy to delete my 1 star review if an action is taken.
Otherwise the place is FANTASTIC!

Great coffee and baked goods. It's got a nice, slightly elevated vibe. While the line out the door may be because it's a great spot, it also may be because they are short-staffed and just generally slow to service customers or bus tables.

Café Reveille is a gem! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal or a coffee break. The menu offers a great variety of delicious options, and the avocado toast is a must-try. The coffee is fantastic, and you can tell they use high-quality beans. The staff is friendly and attentive, creating a warm and welcoming vibe. Whether you’re here to work, catch up with friends, or just enjoy a quiet moment, Café Reveille is the ideal spot. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great café experience in San Francisco!

Underwhelming breakfast. Dead plants in front of the cafe. No AC during the hottest days.

I’ve been coming here for years in the past and worked from this cafe a lot, several times a week. Drove to the area today and was excited to stop by this place, but the manager was unreasonably rude and impolite, I won’t ever return again. But obviously they don’t really care about this.

Cafe Reveille is a great discovery. During our trip to San Francisco for my work, we spent three days in a row there. My spouse ordered the shakshuka and cappuccino, my son the breakfast burrito and coconut chia pudding, and I ordered the breakfast bowl and dirty chai latte. It was all really delicious, nutritious, and substantial. I could only finish half of the almond smoothie, which had a strange aftertaste. That was the one thing I didn't enjoy.
However, I adored this location and would visit there every day if I were local!
You can avoid the line if you arrive between 8:30 and 9:00.

Very cool place! delicious, and healthy Love it ?
Chai: really poor quality. So much sugar syrup it made the drink undrinkable. They ran out of all food at 3pm and had no juices, so only tea and coffee in the menu.
Service: I gave a 15% tip, and I regret it. The staff wouldn't help charge my laptop, so I can access an important email. The respnse was simply "we can't" even though they had a plug that wasn't used.
Amenities: no charging plugs in the entire place (aside from behind counter).
Vibe: it's a very pretty place and that's why I gave the place 4 stars for the atmosphere. Maybe if you order a very simple coffee and come here with a book or a chat with a friend, it would be great. But otherwise my experience sadly was disappointing.
